All he does is drink and fight people.

He doesn't even have any strategy when fights. With all the ninja and espionage training he has, he should have the upper hand on almost everybody. But all he does is charge claws first.

Its like he's looking for a way to die. Suicide by superheroism?

she tried to kill herself in X-force. Well not so much as she was willing to sacrifice herself in order to save the world from the Legacy Virus coming back

Read Jason Aaron's story in Wolverine #73 and 74 (the current volume that recently switched to Dark Wolverine with issue #75) to find out just how close to being on the money you are.

Yes I think he is because his son hates him and Laura disobeys him to become more human to stop being a killer.
