Greetings, fight fans! Welcome to our second match!

As this is our first day, a few words on voting:

Participants and spectators may vote in each match. All voters should use the poll included in each match thread, and vote solely on a team's strategy and defense. The voting polls will remain open for 24-hours. Participants may vote for themselves. NOTE: To prevent unfair ballot-stuffing, only votes from posters with 50 or more posts will be counted. Additionally, votes from posters with matching IP addresses will be disqualified.

Participants may question each other's strategies and offer retorts during a match so long as they stay civil. Spectators may also question the participants. However explanations may not contradict or embellish the posted strategy. Voting should not be based on any potential that characters possess or on any other moves that a voter might want to interject on their own. All voters should feel free to comment on why they've voted for a specific team.

To maintain fairness across the board, teams with two or more participants will only be allowed one vote in any match. If more than one member of a team votes in a match, only the first vote from that team will be counted.

Additionally, while encouraging friends or family to vote in the tournament is allowed, encouraging others to vote specifically for you is against the rules and is grounds for disqualification. Friends and family are expected to read both strategies and make a decision based on what is presented; not based on allegiance to a particular participant. All voting should be done without bias.

And now on to our first fight...

So once again I find myself in a bit of a jam. Sentry is possibly the most powerful being in the Marvel U. His only weakness is that he’s mad as a Hatter. He’s weak mentally. He’s got a fragile psyche. He is a scizophrenic agorophobic alcoholic man who’s been propped up by stronger men in the past 5 years of Marvel comics. Tony Stark or Norman Osborn aren’t here to direct his big guns in this match so I am pulling for a huge choke. Golden Age Viz is a bit of a nutter as well. So I am pulling for them both to crack up and that’ll leave Diablo and he has a smart 1970’s porn/gay man’s mustache. So there is that to over come.

Sound Track for the Fight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWZGj7PVnG4 - V.V. Brown's Leave!

Phase 1: STOP

Living Lightning turns electrical and shoots forward towards the other team and intercepts anybody quick enough to attack my team before Kiden can utter her single word. While in electrical form he can travel at Sub-Light speed. If Sentry is already in the air (debatable) then he grounds him by frying him with 15,000,000 volts of electricity. Normally he wouldn’t use that level on a foe, but Miguel knows that Sentry is formidable.

Molten Man fires up and prepares for an assualt.

The Corruptor just strikes a pose and smiles his evil smile.

Bobby Soul sends his astral possession into Golden Age Viz. His possesion has been shown to be instantaneous. GA Viz has shown to be particularly weak to possession, influence, and/or telepathy.
In the same time frame, the rest of my team (Skein & Black Mamba) clasps hands and Kiden says “stop”. Which freezes time.

Kiden and crew walk around the park and survey exactly where any of Skullboy001’s team has possibly teleported to.

While time is stopped Black Mamba uses her telepathy to search Sentry’s and Viz’s brain and create her patented Darkforce traps. For those of you who don’t know Black Mamba uses her telepathy to project an illusion of what her opponent loves most and then utilizes that to trap her foe into a suffocating darkforce trap. Her illusions are irresistable to foes who lack the telepathic skills to see through them and her opponents can’t fight back since they don’t realize they are trapped. She makes certain that the illusions are on the ground so it will lure the opponents who’ve taken flight back into our clutches.

Skein manipulates the clothing of both Sentry and Diablo specifically constricting the crotch and ass area. Basically she’s going to squeeze their jewels and give them the worst wedgie’s known to man.

Finally, Kiden and crew unfreeze time by Kiden kicking the Diablo in the back. When time re-starts it “races” to catch up making her contact exponentially harder. He’ll feel that in the morning.

Phase 2: COLLABORATE

If Bobby Soul’s possesion of GA Viz works, he’ll be unnafected by Mamba’s ploy and GA Viz will focus his cold powers on poor suffering Diablo. If his possesion didn't work he keeps at it but Skein/Molten Man/Mamba step up the attack.

The Corruptor will run toward civillians and begin to corrupt them into an army. Sentry and GA Viz will both be hesitant to harm civilians and distracted by the need to get them out of harm’s way. Corruptor will touch as many people as he can and command them to swarm the Agorophobic mentally broken Super-Man.

Assuming that Kiden’s time stop worked, Black Mamba will continue to manipulate both Sentry and GA Viz into her trap.

Diablo will have a broken back from Kiden’s kick. Skein will immobilize him by tightening his clothes at the kneck, elbows and wrists and all the while cranks up the crotch squeeze/Wedgie combo. He’ll feel that in the morning. But he soon loses oxygen and passes out.

Living Lightning creates a electrical energy forcefield around Black Mamba and Skein to protect them from any attacks that are still possible.

Molten Man is all fiery and hot and ready to blast the crap out of Sentry or any of the other members of the opponent’s team that remains.

Kiden will stop time every 15 seconds and make adjustments for my team as well as kick Diablo to restart.

Phase 3: LISTEN

Sentry is going to suffocate under a Darkforce blanket and not even realize it. He doesn't die, but he does pass out. If he does somehow break free, he’ll be hit with Cold blasts, heat blasts, Lightning blasts and scores of Corrupted civillians all while having a terrible wedgie.

Diablo is passed out and still has his gay 1970’s porn mustache but not his dignity.

GA Viz is Bobby Soul.

Skullboy001’s team is down and out and my ragtag crew just beat the most powerful man in the Marvel Universe. What’s that sound you are listening for? It’s crying.

Sentry races around New York, trying to find a water fountain (You know those huge water containers on buildings). Once he finds one, he dumps it on top of the opposing team.

Vision will then teleport through the steam caused by the water touching Molten man and proceed to huge his ice manipulation and create a area of absolute zero around him, freezing the water covering Jack's team and putting molten man in deep freeze.

During these events, Diablo will take a capsule from his belt and throw it at the ground. The plant growth pill that he threw will make all plantlife in central park attack the other team. The trees will grow large and block the sky, stopping any flyers from escaping. The roots will try to drag any one they catch under ground.

Sentry will grab Bobby Soul and throw him, far and hard.

Diablo will unleash the salt cloud which turns anything it touches into salt on Black Mamba, then anyone else.

Vision will create illusionary copies of himself and surround the enemy, confusing them and such.

Re-cap
Kiden Nixon: Attacked by giant roots, frozen solid, turned into salt.
Molten Man: Attacked by giant roots, frozen solid, turned into salt.
Living Lightning: Attacked by giant roots, frozen solid, turned into salt.
Black Mamba: Attacked by giant roots, frozen solid, turned into salt.
Skein: Attacked by giant roots, frozen solid, turned into salt.
Corruptor: Attacked by giant roots, frozen solid, turned into salt.
Bobby Soul: Thrown far away by Sentry.

Ok, things im thinking about.

Jack Flash's team come up with a good way to stop Sentry and Vision, BUT. In Sentry:Reborn, Sentry IS stuck in a fantasy. He may be unstable, but part of that is that he can sense when things arent real - its easy to confuse him, but his mind cant be pinned down with a prolonged untruth. So i wonder, would that experience enable him to break free of the mental trap set for him?

Skullboy, i have a problem with Sentry leaving the battlefield to basically find extra equipment. After my recent Avengers League fight im not 100% clear on this, but i dislike characters leaving the field to go get back-up or weapons or whatever. Other than that your strat is good, if somewhat short!

I think im open to being swayed either way at the moment.

I am moved by Skein using wedgies.

Agreed. The ball busting and rectal penetrating attack is something I had not foreseen. Bravo. Our team is now in great fear of potential future match ups and has new uniforms....man kilts on order (next day air). The really stretchy kind.

If Sentry had taken care of Bobby Soul 1st this might have gone differently.

Isnt it against the rules to leave the battlefield, Which sentry did? So doesnt that automatically mean disqualification

Im going to go with Jack Flash. Sentry left the battlefield, which i dont like, Jacks tactics were more detailed, and i believe most of his moves would have worked. Good fight guys.

I think Jack Flash's strategy was much more detailed and had numerous failsafes and back-up plans built in; plus, as has been stated, skullboy001 didn't take Bobby Soul out soon enough.

Good effort on writing a good strategy in super-fast time, skullboy001, but it seems to me that Jack Flash's strategy was just as effective while having greater depth.

Yeah skullboy, time restraints really limited what you were able to plan for this time. You'll get a second chance and hopefully come back more prepared and detailed with your mega powered Sentry and crew.

Props to Jack Flash for an ever entertaining strat. Good win! It will be hard to vote against a team of underdogs with a humorous and at the same time effective gameplan.

Yep I agree on the leaving the battlefield is a no no thing. Strat was also a little too simple, but understandably so

Also Molten Man=awesome. This is a much more dangerous crew than I anticipated.

Sorry I didn't make it in time to vote, Jack. Got held up at work. Thankfully it wouldn't have been a decider vote.
