Lots of people agree with you, and I respect that. I just find his voice PHYSICALLY difficult to listen to. And keep in mind that I listen to my share of black metal, so it's nothing against abrasive voices.

Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed. I've read complaints that Wayne Static only ever sings in one style (which I disagree with) but Jasta makes Static sound like a virtuoso by comparison.

What's actually a shame is that Jasta COULD have a decent range (well, as far as generic mall-metal goes) if he chose to, but, instead, decided to stick with the monotone growl/bark. Definitely gets more than a bit old.

I was considering mentioning Jack White. Whenever I hear a White Stripes song, I start to really dig it... then he opens his mouth. This has been the case since "Seven Nation Army," first White Stripes song I ever heard.
