Your minstrels shall be along presently, sire, to present Birthday Entertainments, including song, dance, and Whack-A-Serf. For snacking we shall have swallows choked with cheese and drowned in cognac, snakes stuffed with weasels stuffed with licorice whips, rabbits stuffed with raisins, each stuffed with tiny frogs, each stuffed with a kernel of corn, and for the Birthday Feast we shall have an Auroch stuffed with a wild boar, stuffed with a hind, stuffed with a sheep, stuffed with a goat, stuffed with a swan, stuffed with a pheasant, stuffed with a duck, stuffed with a chicken, stuffed with a quail, stuffed with a stoat, stuffed with a vole, stuffed with a gold coin with your face on it which you get to make a wish on if you find it.

Throughout all there shall be much beer, and later there will be cake, stuffed with surprises! And also ferrets.

I hope that these arrangements shall be to your liking, sire. And as it is Your Day, we must all do as thou commands!

*grovels backwards out of the throne room*.

And yes, I know your birthday isn't until tomorrow, but I can't stay up until midnight!

Thank you all for the royal regards! It's been a quiet one so far, but the festivities will commence tonight when the family is all home (I have the house alone to myself all day, victim of unemployment.... yay!).

Maija, I appreciate that you donned your princess-ly cap for the occasion!

I've had that before, Stüffenbräu I think it's called. One of the things I miss most about not having access to this
forum while I'm traveling is the large amount of silliness and fun poking that
use to go on in some of the threads. Certainly a jolly time was had by all
or some depending on their humor threshold. At times, a word or phrase
would arise that could lead to questionable posting. The key was knowing
when to walk away.
*AHEM* note Otto walking away
On another note, best belated birthday wishes. Hope there was much
BEER and CAKE.
Sometime I wish I had a blog just so I could write that next line...
