Adult swim, is giving this 4th season premere episode, 10 airings this week,in place of aqua teen hunger force. The chapters are named after the stories from marvel comics 1. The storyline is also told backwards, so a bit confusing. Anyway,as colateral, the monarchs henchman offers up to an ignorant Dr. Venture, a 9.6 marvel comics 1, to pay for his buddys cloining. He then hands it over to his boy Hank, who only cares about batman, and procedes to open the sealed container with ease, as the counter runs down the value with each sciene. The book gets grabed by a dog, used to clean up its poop, has a page or two torn out for tp,gets a bullet hole put in it,as the story progresses. The ultimate horror story for all comic fans, to discover such a rare book, ruined by fools. Check it out this week, for a good laugh.A 70th anniversery for marvel, thats a bit different. This may have already been covered here, so never mind if it allready has.

Wasn't sure if the show had dipped during the hiatus what with all the characters in random places and more than a bit unrecognisable (and long-time Marvel fans must surely appreciate characters showing up after a hiatus in a state of ruination after some flavor of the week writer 'retools for the better' before clearing out and leaving the journeymen to work with the debris), but this episode was awesome.
This show would be flawless if it didn't have beaks between seasons of about a decade.

I loved the references too. And I understand the HUGE hitatus between seasons. Like the Boondocks, the animation on VB is far above most of the shows on Adult Swim, and takes a lot of time and money to create.

Using the value of the comic to mark the timeline was brilliant. I'm so happy this show is back.
