Hi there,

was just wondering, do any of you good folks know if Mezco have any plans to produce new Hellboy action figures based on the comic book? I would dearly love to see a Frog Monster and maybe even a Bog Roosh!!

The last I heard, Mezco lost a few of their licenses, but as far as I know, not the Hellboy one. They lost the license to Nightmare on Elm Street, and I think Friday the 13th, Neca got the license to those two this time around.

And sadly, they obtained the license to Rob Zombie's Halloween 2, and that movie ended up tanking, so that license isn't going to work out to well for them.

But maybe they'll have more time to devote to Hellboy now.

About the best you can do right now is buy the 2 figures from the Mez-Itz line, the first comic book HB summer exclusive:

The summer exclusive is listed as being on reserve (there are several on eBay), while the variant is in stock. (I like ordering direct from Mezco but their shipping is rather expensive.)

I'm still kicking myself I didn't buy that damn dirty ape figure the one time I saw it. Also rocket pack Hellboy and that Abe online exclusive.

I'd say it's worth the purchase, but don't know the exact prices they're going for.

Also comes with a Samaritan.

im pretty sure that Mezco will NOT be making anymore of the comic HB toys anymore. I believe the Abe toy was the last in the line.

The Lobster Johnson and Kreigaffe figures are by far the coolest figures in years.

I ordered the variant on 10/20 and it was at my door on 10/22. Which one(s) are you waiting on? Contact customer service.

I actually had to perform some surgery on my 18 Hellboy figure. The shoulder to arm joint snapped. Now I got it popped out and glued back. Just gotta heat up the arm plastic again and pop it back onto the joint now.
