Just a simple question. What Manga has the most chapters?

Kochikame holds the record for longest continuous publication. it's been a weekly since Sept 1976, uninterrupted. it recently passed 1600 chapters.

Wow cool. I didn't realize anything had been going that long. I thought Detective Conan (Case Closed) was long with 800 some chapters.
