I was looking around on French comics sites and found new comics/BD series called La Brigade chimérique. It looks like there are 3 hardback 48-page albums out by now, first in August 2009, second in September and third in October. That's alone is weird for French comics. Anyone knows more about the series?

I found this page (in English) from the publisher's site, there's a mention of B.P.R.D. there...

Part two:

There are some thumbnails on series' complicated website -

And then I found this preview:

I must say that synopsis is interesting and the covers are pretty radical, but interior artwork is not that good... But as it's somehow similar to Hellboy stuff, maybe someone here likes it...

I don't know anymore, was it worth posting...

At first and swift glance (since it's bedtime!) it looks rather heavily Mignola-influenced both as BPRD-influenced, like with the high contrast faces and the blank specs, with added some Blacksad and robot pulp - but I might have to investigate further.

So yeah, thanks for sharing this info, Ivar!

The back story looks interesting. I like the art work, too. Though I agree with Ivar that its not quite on par with some of the other things out there.
