Can we pitch backup features?
I have this idea for a comic that would only work well as a 3-4 page backup, or maybe an online strip published by Marvel.
It's more or less about a trashy TMZ or Entertainment Tonight-esque talk show that deals with the superhero goings on in the Marvel Universe. I'd have it be hosted by several lovely in-universe celebs like Dazzler, Millie the Model, or Patsy Walker. They'd occasionally grill guest superheroes who came on to the show.
What do ya'll think?

There really should be a "Cosmic Tales" book in the vein of the relaunched "Web Of Spider-Man", where there would be three or four mini-stories featuring different members of the vast Marvel Cosmic Universe.
One month you could go with a Rocket Raccoon/Groot team-up, a Monarch Starstalker tale from the past, and a Silver Surfer solo mission. The next, there's Star-Lord, Adam Warlock, and The Beyonder.
Continuity could either matter or not, depending on if there's a storyline warranting a tie-in, or they could all be stand-alone stories from all periods of time. This could really help new readers wanting to jump aboard "Guardians Of The Galaxy" or whatever understand the dozens of wacky characters within, not to mention the yearly Cosmic Crossovers they've been doing.

Neither did I , but I'll have a go:
Power Pack by Jonathan Hickman & Adrian Alphona
I'd like to see a Power Pack book featuring the original team in their 20s. It could show the effects of their lost childhood fighting crime and also deal with more mature issues much like the old series did (drugs, violence, etc).

That's sort of the problem with it. Currently, I don't think there are any books Marvel has out that would work well with this idea. I imagine it working well in either something comedic like the most recent She-Hulk, or something about Marvel celebs themselves like Models Inc. Unfortunately, Models Inc is only a mini, and She-Hulk got axed.
Deadpool is a comedy that is doing well, but it's much darker than the idea I have. So I dunno.
Maybe Spider-Man?

a one shot glimpse into the future of the avengers 25 years from now with patriot as cap, stature, hulk, thor and hank pyms son a robot like vision named, pymson(love the name, like odinson) have to stop a rouge daredevil from killing every villain after he already has killed doom, and alot of minors.
also little things like ironman armor flying around stopping disaster like things 24/7 after stark died wearing it. so its A.I. and has his corpse still inside.
then make the avengers lead up to that in continutiy. like batman #666 wich was awesome.

I've pitched this idea before in a similar thread.
Unplugged
Automatons -- or the more controversial and negative (racist) term, 'robots' -- have a bad reputation in the Marvel Universe. The public knows them as soulless machines of death and destruction that are programmed only with the ultimate goal of exterminating all organic life to herald the utopian superiority of a robotic age. They are more than that, though. In a sub-sub-culture, automatons work persistently to keep man's internet access available, or to make sure that there are no power outages, without question and without compensation.
Aaron Stack, Machine Man, polices this techno-society. His beat is the information highway. He brings in serial-killer toasters and rogue programs. He bridges the worlds of man and machine.
The Plug is on the circuit boards of every machine. A metallic city in the Midwest that seemed to spring up overnight. There, automatons are welcome and revered. They are building a society where they are equals to the humans that choose to live there. In a world where human weaknesses are not commonplace, a murder occurs. The living city of wires and frequencies does not compute.
Aaron Stack is called in by the Fifty-State Initiative to solve the case. He is joined by his colleague and partner, M-11, the Human Robot. Aaron is a loose cannon driven mad by self-awareness. M-11 is the experienced operative that has seen too much and is just trying to stay operational until retirement day. Together, they are out to discover who is pulling the plug on innocent automatons.

I'd swear someone like this already exists. Possibly not. It's a fun idea.
And I know it's an easy thing to say, but I have a really really good idea for a series, but like another poster, I don't want it stolen. Hell, I've got storylines and characters drawn and everything.

Well, Marvel have tried aging the characters in the past: to put it mildly, this has not been a sales winner and the all-ages stuff (with the characters looking much as they did in the 1980s) has gone down much better critically and commercially.
But if 'older and damaged, possibly sexually ambiguous' is the kind of take you'd like to see, let me direct you to the 99 percent of Power Pack fanfiction currently appearing on the internet that isn't just scans of Loners...

A series featuring Tom Clancy bedside favorite Dirk Pitt could be a nice breakout attempt in our post-DaVinci Code times to snare the TPB audience that didn't care much for DC/Vertigo's Losers comic books, but bought the trades by the bucketful.
The Clive Cussler novels aren't Shakespeare, but they are jammed full of utterly daft ideas and have a main character that defeats a master of the samurai fighting arts in a swordfight to the death by remembering the two semesters of fencing he took in college twenty years earlier, who escaped from a Cuban prison in a bathtub, raised the Titanic just so he could rob a safe, found Abraham Lincoln's secret tomb of Confederate gold in the Saharan desert (with help from Emelia Earhart), and best of all, when the ripplingly-muscled, ruggedly handsome adonis of a main character meets a challenge even he can't surmount, from out of nowhere comes the author of the goddamn book to save the day.
And all done with a straight face, too. Marvel made Dark Tower and Anita Blake breakout hits - time to try another hit series of novels as an ongoing, perhaps?

An Alpha Flight "Year One"-type mini-series which brings newer readers up-to-date on the original characters while bringing some of the rest to us up-to-date with some of the lesser members of the team over the years (I'm talking to YOU, Box). This mini-series could be an introduction to a newly re-vamped Alpha Flight title, the first arc of which would explain what exactly happened to them, and how it came to be that they're not, in fact, dead.
In my opinion, Alpha Flight is one example where a touch of ret-con magic here and there might serve the greater good of re-vamping a potentially great team book.
Also, keeping Northstar in the X-Men as well as AF would make a great bridge between the two books (as if the whole Wolvie thing weren't enough), and another very interesting story arc could be the team dealing with/investigating Marina's recent demise.

It focuses on the lives of four of the X-divas, balancing their careers with being heroes and mutants.
It stars Psylocke, Storm, Dazzler, and Northstar.
Due to each of these four being famous in their own right(Psylocke is a world famous supermodel, Dazz is singer/actress, Storm=Queen, Northstar is a champion skier.) It showcases their lives being followed by paparazzi, how they use their stardom to try and affect mutant standing in the world, fighting baddies, and getting together and drinking to talk about each others love lives.

The Final Act
Mister Immortal is the sole survivor of planet Earth. He soars an almost desolate cosmos in a spacecraft cobbled together from the remains of Galactus' armor. Mister Immortal, and existence itself, is nearing the brink of time. Eternity is dying. It'll all be gone soon.
Join him in those waning days as he witnesses the blossoming of civilization -- and their own Marvels -- on other planets, very much aware of their impending doom. Even on alien worlds, great men and women step up to do great things. Can they do what the heroes of Earth could not? Is there still time to save Eternity? Does Mister Immortal even want Eternity to live, or would he prefer to finally see an end to the Marvel Universe and ultimately discover the Great Secret that he has sought for so long? And is he imagining that squirrel in the corner?
Join Mister Immortal at the end of time to see what all the fuss is about.

Sort of Planetary for the Marvel Universe. It's the Twilight of Heroes. There's no heroes left and these being banded together, creating a cabal of sort, an organisation to find out what happened, but more importantly dig to find the secrets of the Marvel Universe. They would say...decide to come up with a map to find the lost cities and lost civilisations like the Inhumans and Attilan for example. But then when they get there, it's like you see one of those Kirby cities for the first time. And it's nothing like you expected it, it's weird and fresh and it would be a new way to think about those old concepts and by seeing them with other ways, it would make them new and exciting all over again. Just like Planetary who did marvels for those old concepts like Doc Savage, etc...

I'd like to see a Hellfire Club MAX series.
We'd get to delve into the sordid, depraved goings on behind closed doors of the richest and most powerful mutants on Earth.
See Shaw as the Black King, in all his monstrous habits he has as leader of the Inner Circle, from gladiatorial games, political maneuverings, sadistic displays of pleasure and power and give us an insight into the workings of the Club.
See Selene and what makes her tick. After 17,000 years living among mankind, she would have to have some pretty twisted and sickening habits/pleasures etc to keep herself entertained. Human sacrifices, orgies of biblical proportions, and other such activities that ordinary people couldn't possibly concieve. What makes an immortal tick?
Donald Peirce and his serial killer tendencies, who loves nothing more than luring young unsuspecting mutants into his lair and killing them in horrific ways, all the while concealing his true desires to wipe out the Inner Circle and succeed Shaw as Black King. His mansion would be a veritble torture chamber, with devices so evil and despicable even Selene would be entertained.
Emma Frost as White Queen of the Inner Circle would be the darling of the Club, being the object of everyones affections. All the ladies want to be her, and all the men want to do her. And she likes it this way. In fact, she makes it this way. She is the political mover and shaker of the Circle, using her telepathy to make everyone love her and obey her. Her parties are world famous, and people literally kill to be counted among her followers. The entire Club hangs by a thread at the best of times, and Emma is the one holding the scissors, ready to snip that thread and clean up the mess that follows.
All these and more, in this insight into the darkest, most depraved corner of the mutant world, shown in all its glory in the MAX style.

Ok, hows this:
A non-costumed Firestar is on a date, being dutifully followed by a paparazzi when a Ricochet bounds on to the scene while being attacked by an opponent shrouded in darkness. Firestar intercedes, but is killed in the conflict -- ricochet is knocked clear but eventually found. The whole scene is caught on tape and leaked to every major network with a few hours.
Each issue of this mini would deal with various heroes reaction to the death of firestar, while the plot would be carried by Phil Urich (now a PI) and a traumatized Ricochet trying to atone. Issue one would deal with Vance Astro, of course, who would be a recurring character throughout the series, off on his own quest for revenge that occasionally overlaps with the Urich/Ricochet plot.
The series would deal with a sort of lost generation of heroes -- those guys who fought in their youth but never recieved the exposure or credit they deserved. Some of them still fight, and others (like Ricochet) try to stop fighting but get caught up in the thrill, more or less addicted to the experience. The series would be very anti-mainstream heroes -- these c and d listers get resentful when the heavy hitters start trying to investigate. One issue might revolve around the resentment characters like Prodigy might feel when the a listers start to get involved (Prodigy mopping the floor with logan in PI/Samurai mode makes me smile).
Overall, this series would feel like Loners Noir.

I'd like to see series that focuses on the history of organized crime in the Marvel Universe. It could be a cross between History Channel's Gangland, A&E's Mobsters, BET's American Gangster TV series and The Sopranos.
I picture it as ongoing that chronicles how Gangsters like The Kingpin, Silvermaine, Hammerhead, Bossman Morgan and other mobsters rose to power and show the inner workings of the organizations.
Each issue will feature an organization chart detailing the hierarchy of each crime family. The Boss, Captains, Lieutenants, soldiers, etc.
We'll also see drug suppliers, gang wars, undercover agents, informants and of course gangsters that turn state's evidence and go into witness protection.
We'll see how they launder their money and what steps they take to deal with pesky superheroes and average law enforcers.

A comic showing what was happening during the Great Depression. Could be fodder for a lot of creepy, fun, and interesting plots. Did Capone have any superhuman enforcers? Were there mutants in the midwest? And why are those children in the corn holding knives?
