ANOTHER big week (and AGAIN heavy on Batman titles!): Specifically, 10 ongoing titles, 4 limited series; 5 collected editions.

Not nearly as heavy for me personally as last time though. Batman Streets, BN Supes, Outsiders & Supergirl. I'll also take a look at Azrael & JLA. Plus, I'll be getting Star Trek Nero #3 from IDW.

The idea of Superman and Jimmy being superheros in Kandor always cracked me up.

The idea of Superman and Jimmy being superheros in Kandor always cracked me up.

These are reprints from the old Superman Family title. It's been too long since I read these, but I think these are stories about Van-Zee and Ak-Var, not Clark and Jimmy.

Where the heck are Flash: Rebirth and Superman: Secret Origin????

Not too bad. Most looking forward to Power Girl and Blackest Night: Superman. Azrael, I enjoyed the mini well enough, but it's going to be on my pull list on an issue-by-issue basis, so hopefully it will have a strong opening.

This is looking like a dead week for me - none of my regular titles ship - but I am going to go for the L3W hardcover (maybe not this week though) as I wanted the collection and the price is really looking good. (Get a Borders 30% coupon and I'm getting it for $14.)

I'm pretty sure all the other Secret Origin issues are '4th week' releases, not 3rd.

And Rebirth is just frickin' ultra-late. I'm expecting the next issue at the end of the month, but who knows? (insert rolly eyes icon here)

The Halloween Special is the spotlight of the week, the one I'll read last (I read my comics each week in order from least anticipated to most anticipated). I just love those--no crossovers, no big hyped event, just pure storytelling.

Well, I could include that here if there's enough interest. I've not done so in the past because it's more work and I didn't know if the interest is really out there. Also, just because a 2nd or 3rd print ships doesn't mean your retailer ordered any. Would anyone else like to have that info?

Yeah I knew that retailers didn't necessarily order copies. I am mostly just interested in Blackest Night reprints. In particular Blackest Night Superman 2 (if it gets a reprint) because those covers by Eddy Barrows&Nei Ruffino suck in comparison to the Shane Davis variants. It was really cool that the reprint for BN Superman 1 was a recolored Shane Davis cover.
