What new titles coming next year that we know of are you most looking forward too and what titles would you like to see by 2010?

Well there's the new Flash titles to start with. Considering what Johns et al have done with the GL universe I can't wait to see how the invigorate the Flash franchise.

Post-Blackest Night DCU. Noone really knows what will change. Will there big any long lasting noticable effects? Can't wait to find out.

There's a big superman story on the horizon. I've never been big on superman but I've decided I'm going to get myself in on the party, starting with Supergirl: Who is Superwoman? next month.

Green Arrow is one of my favourite characters so I'm interested to see what big 2010 story is.

What's Johns going to surprise us with next? There are rumours of Aquaman, Aquawoman (Mera), and Captain Marvel being tossed around.

There is also the "Seven Soldiers of Destruction" thing from Booster Gold. Dan Didio has said that Morrison is working on something special, so maybe we're going to see a follow up to the amazing Seven Soldiers of Victory? That would be fantastic!

Generally really looking forward to next year in the DC Universe.

Superman is exciting but the one thing I'm anticipating the most is Multiversity. Grant Morrison going crazy in his own worlds with a line-up of (presumably) awesome artists, how could I not be looking forward to it?

Yeah, that sounds like the winner. But I'm even more curious about the big Johns event in 2011... especially if Hector Hammond is involved...

I can't see how 2010 can be anywhere near as good as 2009 has been for DC. They've just hit home runs for the last 4 or 5 months as far as I'm concerned.

Their best year for about a decade.

Well, anything Grant Morrison does -- So Multiversity and Joe the Barbarian and anything else.

I really, really really hope that the "Seven Soldiers of Destruction" hint means something significant is going to be done with Grant Morrison's re-imagining. Pllleeeaaassse!

I'm interested, and optimistic, in seeing what they do with the JLA. It was my favorite book once, I'm hoping it will be again. Lets see if Robinson can find his footing, I guess.

Confirmed:

Doc Savage and Spirit get their own ongoings
Big Supes crossover

Out of nowhere speculation:

Bruce Wayne returns
At least two characters killed in Blackest Night come back, and at least one of them gets his own ongoing
One, probably two, of the current bat-books will be cancelled
The tide of fandom opinion will turn on Grant Morrison
Everyone will still hate DiDio

Return of Bruce Wayne. But I hope he won't take up the cowl again so soon

Don't toy with my emotions.

I hope they keep the Dick/Damien dynamic going throughout 2010. I don't want Bruce to return, at all, but at least until 2011. Though I guess the latter half of 2010 we'll be getting some Bruce Wayne-centric events.

I would like to see Aquaman return in an ongoing series. I don't care if it's written by Geoff Johns or an equally qualified writer but I want Aquaman to be at the forefront and taken seriously.

Due to my love of the Johns/Manapul team on Adventure Comics, I am very excited for The Flash (or All-Flash, or whatever) and Kid Flash with Sterling Gates. I'm currently in the process of reading the original Impulse series.

I would like to expand my DC catalogue in 2010 beyond Batman and Green Lantern. I want to try out some of the second-tier and third-tier titles. I loved the first issue of Superman: Secret Origin, but I haven't really kept up with the Superman books since Last Son. I need to prepare myself for the Superman event.

I'm in the process of reading Green Arrow: Quiver. I figured it's the best jumping on point for Green Arrow in the modern setting. I haven't really been impressed by the ongoing series, though, based on previews mostly.

I'm also going to start collecting R.E.B.E.L.S. again.

I just realized I kind of deviated from the topic discussion.

While I really do love Mera (and all of the Aqua-family), I have a feeling they're going pull another OYL and give us an Aquawoman book as opposed to Aquaman. Again, I'm all for a Mera one-shot, mini, or even JLA membership, but not if it's going to mean no Arthur... :frown:

But to answer the OP's question, I'm excited to see what's coming for Green Arrow (and by extension, Black Canary).

.

Me too! Seriously though, I'm looking to the Superman trades Johns run and so forth to get into the character and be up on the New Krypton story in time for whatever the 2010 event is. I'm also excited for contnued awesomeness on the Green Lantern and Batman books.

There's an outside chance I'll check out the new Flash book. I've never read any Flash before, but the creative team alone is enough to peak my interest.

Lol, you are so me. These are pretty much all I'm reading too right now. Blackest Night is so good so far, has me the most excited at this moment. But first and foremost, I'm a Batman fan, but only Morrison's B&R is really doing great with Dick as Batman; the other Batman titles are shockingly subpar (so many subplots, not so good writing...feel like not getting the money's worth).

I want to try out some of the second-tier and third-tier titles. I loved the first issue of Superman: Secret Origin, but I haven't really kept up with the Superman books since Last Son. I need to prepare myself for the Superman event.
Shouldn't be too hard. You simply need the new Braniac hardcover + New Krypton Vol 1 + New Krypton Vol 2 + the future volumes. I have these. Don't really need anything (I will bet) from between Last Son and the new Braniac arc.

I'm looking forward to the up coming Superman event and just purchased the past year and a half of Superman, Action, and Supergirl books, along with the various one shots, New World of Krypton, and Superman: Secret Origin.

I'm also looking forward to Morrison's run on the Multiversity, but will wait until this is collected into TPBs like I did for 52.

I really expanded my comic purchases over the past few months since Blackest Night started. I was getting about $40 dollars a month in comics and it has now expanded to 70+ dollars a month. I also went back and got the TPBs for GL and GLC that lead up to the Blackest Night story starting with the Sinestro Wars.

I started picking up Batman after the Battle for the Cowl stuff and have really enjoyed the Reborn storyline so far. I'll get Morrison's Batman and Robin as they collect it into TPBs.

I also can't wait to see what they are going to do with the Flash.

-The next big Superman event

- The new Flash monthly

- This will be at the tail end of 2009 but I'm probably looking forward to the new Justice League of America most of all.

Apparently the events in REBELS right now regarding Starro are leading to a bigger impact in 2010 across the DCU...

I can't wait for Zatanna, I hope it's 2010.
Plus I'm hoping for a Robin (Damian) ongoing.

I'm thinking 2011 - Batman: Rebirth.

Zatanna has her own book coming.
Starman 81 is out in January!
Issue 75 of Teen Titans hinted that we might get a Static-centric storyline after Blackest Night.
Sterling Gates has his Kid Flash ongoing coming.
I'm hoping James Robinson will finally do the Shade mini he's been jabbering about for years.
