Tell me what you think of this idea, ive thought about it for a while and wanted to share it.

Appearance:

Face- The burned side of his face would be a grayish green color with his lips, half of his chin, and cheek gone. Exposing his charred jaw bone, teeth and muscles.

Attire- Black and White T-shirt with yin yang pendant necklace, rolex Watch, black dress pants and leather shoes.

Weapons- Two Uzi machine guns and occasional german grenades.

Background:
Harvey Dent was a well respected lawyer and was chosen to be elected judge for next year's term at Gotham Courthouse. The failing lawer grew jealous of this and planted a bomb in Dent's car. He accidentaly sets of the bomb too early as Dent approaches the car. Sending Dent flying across the parking lot, landing face down unconcious. When Dent sees the damage of his burns he goes insane. He uses a coin to determene his choices of commiting a crime or not.

Boo. If you're re-imagining him, then actually re-imagine.

Harvy Dent, a former military contractor, was hired by the American Government to do some overseas work in Afghanistan. Unfortunately for him, upon completing the task requested of him, the government, in trying to cut any connections to the incident, kidnapped and incarcerated him, changing the records to identify him as an enemy, terrorist combatant. Subjected to torture, he was in the process of being electrocuted when he made his escape. The ensuing actions lead to his face being permanently scarred (burnt from the electricity).

Since then, he has come back to Gotham to enact revenge against the agency leaders responsible for his betrayal. He uses his time as a military contractor and his various connections to bring the city to its knees, holding it hostage until the people he wants to punish reveal themselves publicly. They don't, Batman stops him. The next time he goes after them individually.

This is interesting because DC actually tried to re-imagine Two-Face repeatedly in order to give Harvey his happy ending. There was even an actor who repeated the accident while filming a simulation of Harvey's accident.

JKA, I apologize for this but....

Quinn, that sounds awesome. The only addition I'd make was some sort of tie to Bruce. It was always that emotional connection to Bruce knowing Harvey before that set 2face apart from the other rouges for me. Even though it's used quite often I also like how you gave a reasonable reason for why he'd be doing something bad and the moral question of Bats having to defend the equally bad corporate/ agency guys.

Like I said very cool Quinn.

** As quick as you came up with that, did I miss something and has DC already made this story, or something?**

Heh, thanks. Tell DiDio you like it.

Seriously though, you're right about him needing an emotional connection to Bruce. Maybe we could recton in them having had a relationship at some point during the past where Bruce was traveling around the world training. I don't think that time period of his life has ever really been touched upon, but imagine if the two of them were previous students under the same martial arts/military strategy mentor. It'd also help to legitimize his abilities when it comes time for a showdown between him and Batman.

But no, DC hasn't done anything of the sort. I wish.
