Hot Looking Male Villains in superhero comics

Heh...from the Superman/Batman film thread...I liked this topic.

In anime, it's kind of a trope that the hotter the guy is, the more of a bastard he probably is. Griffin, Aizen, Nephrite, Sephiroth....why don't we see the same in comics?


But we don't have that in superhero comics..so, who are the hottest evil villains.

I'm not talking anti-heroes like Namor...I'm talking bad to the bone villains. I got two so far from that thread...

Daken certainly...but Empath...Never really saw hm drawn to be "super-atractive". Definitely no to the extent that female fans swoon over his look a la Aizen.

I have no idea why anyone crushes on Gambit.

Magneto had the semi-noble but a little bit crazy and super-powerful thing going on.

ETA: Isn't Thomas Eliot (Hush) currently running around with Bruce Wayne's face? Not personally turned on by that one but he certainly qualifies as hot-looking.

I think the ultimate disparity is that so many female villains a designed to be sexy, while there aren't many male villains who are designed as such, but happen to be sexy just because artists tend to draw attractive people.

Why don't the female heroes have their male versions of Catwoman and Poison Ivy? I'm not sure it would work for a character like Wonder Woman (she can have a sexy male villain, but I don't think she could really be attracted to him), but it would be a fun addition to the rogues gallery of a character like Power Girl.

Of course, many a superheroine has fallen for the charms of Dr. Doom (I'm looking at you, Storm), and getting stranded in the Savage Land with Magneto will end in sexy time (just ask Rogue), so there has been a bit of it.

Of course he's going to be another Cyclops-booster. Cyclops has, seemingly, come more in line with his way of thinking than with Xavier's. That's why I thought it looked interesting. Scott's been so certain of his course, but I'm not sure Magneto is really a guy he wants agreeing with him. Plus there's the fact that there are a lot of depowered mutants running around and Magneto got his powers back. He's also the former leader to a lot of the mutants in Utopia. No matter what he says or does, he's still going to be the snake in the Garden of Eden.

Black Adam is drawn kind of weirdly these days but was a lot better looking in the 80's....

At the very least we can go clubbing together. We'll never fight over the same guy!
