Here is the preview for Red Robin #5.

I have been loving this title lately.

Looks good. Can't wait for the new artist to come onboard next issue.

Discuss!

Wait I don't get what's going on there? And the cover guy doesn't look like Tim.

What don't you get? And why would you say it doesn't look like Tim on the cover?

How they look like they've been murdered and on the Tim subject, I don't feel as if the artist drew him well. IMO it looks nothing like him.

Did you read the last issue? It ended with them seemingly being killed.

and on the Tim subject, I don't feel as if the artist drew him well. IMO it looks nothing like him.

Um, okay. I don't see that at all, so I think it's just subjective.

Well Blackest Night takes place after this doesnt it?

So we all know Tim lives anyway. <___<

Oh no, actually. I didn't have the extra money. And yeah, I guess.

Tim clearly died in issue four. I mean, that's his body laying right there on the bed. Not sure who the new Red Robin is. Who do we know with blue eyes and brown hair?

edit:

On a side note, Ramon Bachs has picked up his game drastically these last couple issues, the work is amazing. I don't want to pull Azrael but I may not have a choice.. -_-;

Man Tim likes it rough in bed.

Oh and that probably is Tim, just older. See long hair=aged. Just be glad it wasn't dyed red

The art is really distracting, not a fan of it. The entire issue was meh, nothing really happened.

The cover looks great!

I wish that artist could do the whole book.

Tim dies but Ras Al Ghul rez'd him with the pit.

This issue was great. Also if any of you are reading this and didn't pick up Adventure comics this week, you are doing yourself an injustice.

I also liked the cover art, though the Bachs' interiors are awesome as well.

This book is on the list of titles I never thought I'd be buying if you asked me a few years ago.

No, he didn't actually. Tim thought he may have, but he was saved through medical attention, not the Lazarus Pit.

Is this title worth picking up?
I am a HUGE Mr. Yost fan, but the only DC titles I am getting are Green Lantern and Blackest Night.
Will I know what is going on?

I don't think you'll have any problems. The world thinks Bruce Wayne is dead, but Tim thinks otherwise. He pushes away all of his friends and hits the road to get proof, using a different costumed identity. He attracts the attention of the League of Assassins, who are in turn being hunted by a rival organization of assassins. Tim and the League join forces but both are trying to play each other.

The creative team is doing a great job of portraying Tim as someone with his back against the wall.

Yeah there's a lot of Tim stuff in that book. Probably more than Conner.

I was getting prepped to dropping this title and then this issue hit. I'm really digging the new direction RR is taking. As important as the search for Bruce was, it wasn't really all that interesting.

But yeah...good luck trying to take out the entire freaking League of Assassins on your own, Tim. Not going to happen.

I was thinking the same thing...

Tim searching the globe for Bruce...Meh...

Tim attempting to take down the league of Assassin's from the inside out... I'm sold...

Red Robin is official right behind B&R on my pullist....

Story: Great issue, overall, although I thought it was strange that everything pointed to Tim being raised by the Lazarus Pit...but then, it turned out, he wasn't. I did double-take.

The end was the best part: Tim taking down the League of Assassins? Can't wait for this!

Art: I'm glad there's a new artist for the next arc.

Rating: 3.5/5

The whole quest for Bruce Wayne angle really nowhere didn't it? we already knew that Bruce was drawing on walls. Four issues for Tim to find a piece of rock, and as soon as we're all on the same page the book suddenly changes direction. It was just getting interesting. Now kind of pointless it seems

I really hope the search for Bruce remains a subplot otherwise i'm gonna lose alot of faith in this book to deliver a story

But yeah apart from that, Tim all alone against the League is pretty cool and I'm still enjoying the characterisation here.

Yeah, the whole "searching for Bruce" seems like it will fade into the background. But I think that's inevitable:

-Bruce's return will likely be covered in one of the "main" Bat books (B&R or Batman) or a special, meaning Tim's search likely wouldn't have gone far, at least in the pages of Red Robin

-From what I understand, Bruce won't be gone too long, so that angle won't have much time to play out (though I could be completely off base.)

This series gets better with every issue. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough, and I can't remember the last time I was so disappointed to see the words "To be continued!" pop up when they did. Really, I didn't expect to enjoy Red Robin so much, but I am.

I really can't understand how anyone couldn't love this series. This has been my second most anticipated Bat-book behind B&R the entire run. Yost is fantastic.

I'd buy Sirens again if it had the same characterization and tension as Red Robin

next weeks Streets of Gotham should be interesting....

Man, this was another excellent issue, I'm REALLY digging this book.

And I sitll dont get why there seems to be so much anti-Ramon Bachs sentiment. I'm not a HUGE fan or anything, but his art services the story just fine. It's not like it's revolting to the eyes or anything.

No, he didn't actually. Tim thought he may have, but he was saved through medical attention, not the Lazarus Pit.

Which made for the funniest moment in the entire book.

Great dialogue and strong issue, but the going back and forth did a disservice here. And the insertion of Tam Fox was...awkward, to say the least.
