I was looking on dccomics.com and just realised there's a new LotDK trade out in a couple of weeks. This is always good news!

Written by James Robinson, Warren Ellis and Alan Grant; Art by John Watkiss, John McCrea and Quique Alcatena; Cover by John Watkiss
Collecting three monstrous tales for the first time from LEGENDS OF THE DARK KNIGHT #71-73, 83, 84, 89 and 90! First, Batman investigates murders that seem to have been committed by a werewolf. Then, he must battle bio-engineered soldiers turned killing-machines. And in the final story, Batman faces Clayface! On Sale October 28, 2009 http://www.dccomics.com/dcu/comics/?cm=12905

I've never read the werewolf arc but if it's James Robinson I'm looking forward to it. Blades was one of the best.

The Warren Ellis / bio solder issues was one of the first Batman comics I ever read - cant remember if it was this or Batman 500. Definitely buying this tpb

Apart from that it's good to see that DCs trade dept is still putting out LotDK collections.

I was kind of hoping that some day they would make a Clayface trade that included this story. I guess it can still happen?

The one thing about the Infected storyline that jumps out at me, is that Batman uses a gun to fight against the soldiers in the story.

As for Werewolf, the story is cool, but the ending and finding out the truth behind the monster is really cheesy and a stretch.

I think a good story that should have been put in with this collection is Sunset, which involves Batman being hypnotized by a vampire, and becomes her slave until Alfred saves him.

I don't think Batman should mix with vampires and werewolves, then they make movies like "Batman VS Dracula", and those movies or comics I just feel down Batman. Still good to watch for a luagh lol.

Batmite76 believed that too, and he didn't use a lot of the super natural stories in his list. But I'm adding them back in. If you skip the super natural stories, you're skipping a lot of REALLY good stuff.

I am actually a fan of that stuff ,I do like the realism in batman comics but it fun to read about gohst and goblins.

Also alot of the storys are drawn by Kelly Jones.I love his odd looking batman.

So I take it you're not reading Grant Morrison's Batman?
