Who knew Marge Simpson was such a sex kitten?
Sources confirm that the ambiguously aged, iconic cartoon TV mama will appear—naked!—on the November cover of Playboy magazine...
Hugh Hefner teased a while back on Twitter about a possible Marge-Playboy collaboration. We now can tell you that the Simpson matriarch will be featured in a three-page pictorial complete with an interview and a data sheet to mark The Simpsons' 20th anniversary.
But if naked blue-haired cartoons aren't your forté, don't worry. Marge will not—we repeat, will not—be replacing the usual real-life human Playmate in the issue.
We haven't seen the Marge shots yet, so we cannot tell you if the rug matches the drapes.

Words fail to describe what I'm feeling right now. At least Homer can brag that his wife is a Playboy model.

I could see a funny Simpsons episode concerning this.

And besides, we all know the real reason we watch the Simpsons - hardcore nudity! (http://video.filestube.com/video,eab09025c8d1ea0a03ea.html!)
Except it's not a clip, it's the entire episode, so you have to skip to the end.

What's that about Stephen King?
...
Sorry. I can't be interested in this. There's far too much Simpson's porn on the internet.

Wrong on so many levels...
However, it doesn't actually say Marge will be nude inside the magazine. Wouldn't be the first time someone is on the cover (Olivia Munn, Jessica Alba) but the pictures are nothing beyond what you'd see in a Maxim shoot.

Don't see why there wouldn't be a 'nude photo' of Marge. She's just a cartoon character and playboy once had a nude spread of video game characters in their magazine.
It's sad now that the only celebrities that Playboy can get naked in the magazine are cartoon characters. The Olivia Munn and Heidi what-ever spreads were a waste of glossy paper.
Female celebrities are taking their clothes off or wearing see-thru clothes for magazines like the french Vogue (Rihanna I think and Eva Herzigova ) and Eva Longoria in Citizen K while Playboy has to negotiate with semi-celebrity Heidi what-ever for how much (or how little) she will show in the magazine.
Playboy has sunk pretty low.

Heck, a full frontal Marge Simpson layout still wouldn't be as shocking as what happens on Family Guy every single week. If Peter can have a hot, model wife, then so can Homer.

This isn't really new you know. Playboy had a video game character pose in their magazine before

The article I read said there would be "implied nudity." I take that to mean that she may be "naked," but they won't be showing anything.

the simpsons stopped being funny or interesting a long time ago so they have to make as much money as they can really fast before the franchise dies off its just sad

This is the first time a cartoon character has appeared as the cover model.
Notably, Marge is posed the same way the first African-American cover model did back in the '70s (1971, I think). That Marge, making strides for cartoon-character rights!

I'm surprised that it hasn't been done yet, but I just couldn't resist or help myself...

The pics have and leaked and I've seen them. They're not nudes. Though you can clearly see her nipples in one of the pics.

I bought this issue yesterday. Very cute little Marge pictorial. In the centerfold, she's holding a tray of doughnuts and has on a see-through negligee. And of course, she has a come-hither expression on her face. It's pretty awesome.

It's worse than that.
This was supposed to be the month of the Farrah Fawcett tribute cover.
Yes. This means in the eyes of Playboy, Marge Simpson > Farrah Fawcett.

Is Playboy going nuts ? Or is it to turn into an Hentai mag ?

I may be wrong, but I don't think this is true. Didn't Jessica Rabbit appear on the cover back in the 80's?

For that cover, a live, breathing model's head was superimposed on Jessica Rabbit's cartoon body, so it was altered artwork and not the authentic character design. This is the first time a cartoon character has appeared intact on the cover.
Bummer about Playboy bumping Farrah for this. Hopefully they'll still run the Farrah cover.

Apparently Playboy are merging their jan/feb issues like they did with july/aug this year because their print sales are down. Considering they bumped Farrah and Traci Brooks for a goddamn cartoon housewife, I don't think it's really much of a surprise their finances and sub numbers are going down the toilet. It was bad enough when they thought people cared cigar humidors and wanted to read reviews of them in between jerkin' the gherkin to Kathy Ireland, I can't believe they are that surprised figures are down in light of this. Considering the unrelenting and varied smut I can find using Google, Playboy is way behind in catering to the affluent adult male. Hell, there are UK men's mags like Front and Loaded that show more than Playboy does these days. I mean who ever read Playboy to see Mariah Carey in a bunch of bikinis?

Playboy readership fell more than 25% in the past four years due to the popularity of the Internet. The Marge cover is Playboy's attempt to jumpstart sales and also attract a younger audience. The cartoon cover can, in no way, be blamed for Playboy's declining sales.
As for mags that "show more", that isn't Playboy's goal. The models are only part of the magazine (the articles really are good!) and I think they show plenty. Mags that "show pink" are not everyone's cup of tea.

Yeah, Playboy has been and always will be the stroke-book for sophisticated masturbation...

It's a publicity stunt, I highly doubt many that purchase this novelty issue will buy next month's issue. Simpsons fans and porn fans don't have a huge crossover market as far as I can tell.
Playboy's "goal" is running it in into the red. Maxim is not top shelf and offers better pictorials of nearly nude women a lot of the time. FHM is destroying Playboy worldwide by offering the same kind of content minus the top shelf tag.
If people want lifestyle magazines, Maxim, FHM, Home and Garden, Harper's Bazaar and many others have that covered. If people want porn, it's a search engine away.
The real question is what does Playboy offer that's unique anymore? Hell, TMZ has better photos of celebs topless these days.

There's an alternative cover with the victorias secret model, for the men who don't buy playboy for cartoon characters.
What a weird mixed message. First Alba, then Munn, then Heidi. Now Marge. What next? Gabi from Sesame Street? Wait.... actually on second thought...

I haven't seen playboy since i was 13 and i didn't have a computer.
I can learn how to make the perfect martini online, and i can find way more naked chicks, for free.
