Sort of the story a lot of people were expecting (although it's apparentally not the recall storyline that Disney was going to do without Pixar), Andy grows up and the Toys have to move on too. The humans seem more expressive this time around than in previous Toy Stories which had a slight Uncanny Valley thing to them....although not quite as styilized as Incredibles or Ratatouille (Probably to keep visual continuity with the earlier films).

Man, it actually looks great. I had no idea what kind of story they were going with but I busted out laughing when I saw they were donated to a day-care center. Nice. It's good to see Tim Allen doing something decent again, poor guy. BTW, who's doing Slinky Dog's voice now? Somehow it just feels weird.

That looks AWESOME!!!! I serious LOL'd several times.

Did you fix Buzz?

[Buzz speaks spanish]

Not exactly.

I am so glad Disney didn't get to do their take on TS3. That would have sucked. This is going to possibly blow away one and two, and it is a perfect progression in the storyline.

I was skeptical when I first heard reports of Toy Story 3 but I'm optimistic that this film should at least be as fun as the other Toy Story films. Slinky sounds a little different but I wouldn't want the character written out because of Varney's passing and whoever they cast really is as close as humanly possible to Varney's voice as we'll get from what little we get to hear.

Just out of curiosity -- because this is the first I've heard of it -- just what WAS the original story that Disney wanted to pitch?

The story that Disney wanted to pitch when Michel Esiner was still in charge was that Buzz was malfcaution and all Buzz toys had to be recalllled, personally I'm gald they dropped this storyline and have build up on the themes present in two
