Hey gang, I know this isn't huge news since I haven't updated it in several years, but Yahoo is closing down Geocities on 10/26 and with it goes the Art of Mignola (http://www.geocities.com/mignolaart/). Now don't too many people clcik the link because it's geocities and will run out of data transfer immediately.
Now if anybody wants to take it over, I'm cool with that and I'll even send a disc of my very small Mignola art collection, but if not, that's all she wrote.
Anyway, I want to thank everybody that gave me encouragement & help with the site, especially Jonell, Neil, Michael & most importantly the Mignolas. Thank you guys.

Hey Nick, yeah it would be great to maybe incorporate the "Art of" into a new hellboy.com.
Certainly are some changes going on.

Ahh thats too bad.
I remember years and years ago when I first discovered Mignola around the first movie time, I feverishly Googled him to find all the art I could, and I stumbled across your site.
Sad to see it go, but hopefully like Petriacce says, they'll do something like that on hellboy.com or somewhere.
Twas great work Nick
I've debated letting the Hellboy Animated site (http://hellboyanimated.typepad.com) go since there's no more Hellboy Animated. I ended up footing the bill for it even though it was a promotional site. I finally realized that I was allowed more pages than I was using so I started up another blog (http://hellboyanimated.typepad.com/just_a_tad/) which keeps HA open as a bonus.
Thanks for keeping it so long, Nick. It was a great reference source for the animation artists.

Your website has helped me find alot of Mignola art that I've never saw before, you did a good job on your site!
I remember your site Nick! Ah, those old days where Hellboy was more indy-cult than pop-cult :)
Reminds me of my old site (which is still floating around: http://planet.io/_archive/web_hellboy/)

I remember liking the coloring of the picture links and thought of using the same idea in putting together the Hellboy Encyclopedia that never happened.

That one is yours?? I remember going there in the late 90s. I think it might've even been where I found out about a Plague of Frogs. Cool!

I remember thinking I had the first Hellboy fansite -- then I heard about this Plague of Frogs one on Geocities! I was thinking I could best this "jnapper" guy, then found out he was a she, and that she snagged hellboy.com. ...and the rest is history!

Your site has always been a treat Nick W.
I used it to ascertain just how correct it was for me to wanna buy Weasel #4 and stuff. The Nickolodeon magazine Mignola strip I haven't been able to get hold of, but thanks to your site I at least know what it looks like.
So thanks and kindly stay around mister.
