I had a vague recollection of the above story, so I went searching for it. As I recall, it was all a ruse on Lois' part to try to make Superman jealous.
And while I was looking for the above issue (which I remembered), I also came across the below issue, which I'd forgotten about. I think I may have had it, but I can't remember the storyline at all.

Who knows? The OP didn't say it had to be in continuity, s/he simply said "in the comics."

I love this one. I love how Superman just asumes so easily that Lois LOVES BATMAN AND WANTS TO MARRY HIM only cause she wears a Batwoman costume. Talk about rushing into conclusions.

Lois strikes me as being a bit easy.
I like that in a woman.

I've got a question! I am also taking college classes, and was wondering if anyone knew of any websites that deal with literary criticisms of comics? Specifically Batman would be extremely helpful.
And if you know of a literary criticism of a Grant Morrison work, that would be great too.

So, did Carmine Infantino paste Superman's face on Batman or Batman's face on Superman?

Tim Callahan wrote an exellent analyses of of Arkham Asylum but you'll have to order this book (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Grant-Morrison-Early-Timothy-Callahan/dp/0615140874) to get it. it's worth it anyway

Uhm... yes?
Anyway, thanks! I'm not using it for school specifically, but I've been reading a lot of literary criticisms, and decided I wanted to read about something I actually enjoy.
