Hi all,

I don't see this title discussed much here. I just started reading Milligan's run and I have a couple questions.

A couple of times Batman is shown blocking bullets in a fashion similar to Wonder Woman. Why this particular detail strikes me as odd I don't know, but is there some bit of bat-tech that I'm unfamiliar with that lets him do this?

And, does Gordon know that Bruce is Batman in this title? It's pretty strongly implied in one of the conversations they have.

I should note that I"m only familiar with the bat-verse through the trades (and only the big name ones at that) so there's likely plenty about Batman that I'm not aware of.

Thanks ahead of time for the replies.

As far as I can tell, this is another complete revamp of Batman's early years. I didn't care for the way Ledgends of the Dark Knight retold it, so anything that helps burry it's canon under the dust is gold in my eyes.

Meh, in the continuity I've been editing, I'm keeping it all in, unless it contradicts continuity.

Which is why I've created the mantra of "Batman had a VERY BUSY first couple years"

I think the deal with Gordon is usually same as it has been for a long time, he pretty much knows who Batman is but doesn't really want to have it confirmed. As if he knew who Batman was and the police had to arrest them, he would have to oblige.

Batman Confidential is just Batman stories set earlier than the current story lines. Other than the Joker one, most could have taken place at about any point.

I don't know, I think Legends of the Dark Knight was a pretty good comic, often times way better than some stuff going on in Batman and Detective. There are some pretty classic stories in the run. Then again, I'm more interested in Batman stories and not the ongoing soap opera with the league of Robins and Batgirls that often seem to be so intrusive on the current 'continuity'.
