All the more reason to bring John Lopez back from the dead... Especially if his remains are just sitting there in storage, like so many others. If Selene was smart, she'd recognize that Sinister collected some bad ass mofo's over his career. So if she's recruiting, it would be wise for her to drop by Sinister's lab to see what goodies he has.

This would definitely amp up the X-Men's rogue gallery of villains. Maybe even create a new team or two.

i never heard of thunderbird until those fleer ultra x-men cards came out in the 5th grade. thunderbird was under the dead x-men series with magick and cypher and i was like wtf? warpath is still alive!!!

then x-men classics reprinted the issue where the team fought him and firestar a month or two later....

I'm guessing the whole thing is a deus ex machina to bring back whichever dead x-characters the writers want for their books.

Hopefully it will include recently deceased characters like Sabretooth (the original, not a Sinister clone).

This, combined with the eventual return of Hope in Cable will most likely end the "no more mutants" phase and return the X-books to the status quo.

Luckily I only read Wolverine and X-Force in the x-men line (unless you count Deadpool) so it won't bother me a great deal.

New X-men was my favorite series, so anything to me not written by C&C doesn't measure up to a lot of stuff.

The problem with the X line was what Liefeld, Lee and others had done in the 90s with creating way to many mutants. Its very easy to create a mutant cause theres no real backstory with how they got theyre powers. This was solved by House of M. As long as Joe Q is there, they are not gonna go back to that status quo, and I am glad. Necrosha will bring the return of some dead mutants, but I really dont think theres gonna be a pre House of M return. Its not a big dues ex machina.

They were members of the Morlock off-shoot group the Tunnelers. They appeared in one issue during Mutant Massacre. Cyclops killed Berzerker.

Berzerker has had fairly decent roles in both X-men Evolution and Wolverine and the X-men.

Since Thunderbird is being brought back, I would like to see Changeling and Banshee too, I mean, it will be interesting to see dead X-Men in addition to other mutants being revived (also, I hope Pyro, Caliban and Doug Ramsey stick around for a while since I liked those minor characters). I would also like to see Quentin Quire, but since he passed onto a higher plane, or something like that, I guess it wouldn't be right to bring him back as a minion for Selene.

I thought about this today, but the TO virus restores the body to the way it was before the person died.
Graydon Creed was reduced to ashes, he's back in full body, perhaps the TO not only makes the bodies "normal" again, but it restores the mutant part, the part that was with the deceased before they died, not counting the New X-men students, unless there's a trick around that. I mean, if the body can be reset, why not the DNA? Just my guess though...

Yep. Laynia Petrovna dies in New X-Men, and is then turned into a zombie in Necrosha. However, there is a mysterious blonde-haired girl appearing in December's 'Winter Guard' oneshot, who may also be Laynia, because that story is all about her dad - The Presence - trying to resurrect her.

'Sasha' is the current redheaded Darkstar, who is a member of the Winter Guard along with Ursa Major, Red Guardian, and Crimson Dynamo. She's fun too.

He's not that obscure. He had a pretty big role as a villain in the 90's T.V. series. He had potential to be a pretty cool villain after Magneto was gone. However, Exodus was more interesting.
