I skipped Batman when Reborn begun and went for Batman & Robin and Detective comics instead. Batman & Robin is a great read. I'm not 100% convinced of Detective yet though. I love the art though. I might be able to fit in Batman too on my pull list.
I've noticed that the ratings in reviews have been varied when I've sporadically checked, so I figured, why not ask here?
Now that it's been 3-4 issues since Reborn began, how would you rate Batman as a title so far? Perhaps a bad time to ask, since as I understand it, the creative team changes soon. So perhaps when that happens is a good jumping on point?

It's okay. NOT as good as B&R.

tony daniel will be writing/penciling after one more winnick/bagley issue (he wrote/penciled battle for the cowl btw)
it seems most people are finding batman mediocre at the moment and are not really looking forward to daniel's writing, but i like it
if you're looking for something good, look elsewhere, but if you want a simple, decent batman story, give it a try
I think the characterization of Batman is better in Batman, but I think the stories Batman and Robin are better.

I'm going to admit that I'm probably in the minority here, but I like Batman better then B&R. Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying B&R, but I find the depth of characterization in Batman more appealing were as B&R strikes me as more action oriented. The two quibbles I have with it to date are very minor (the flash back at the start of #1 rad more like Jason then Dick and the lack of proper British cussing by Alfred) and don't detract from the over all feel of it for me.
I've been very impressed with how Dick is being written as he's the smiling-chatterbox-that-gets-the-job-done-HIS-way that I fell in love with years ago. Given how Winick has written him in the past, I was pleasantly surprised and not at all adverse to giving credit where credit is due.
I'm really hoping that I will similarly be pleasantly surprised by Daniel. But given the mess that was BftC, I'm not holding my breath on that one. Still, we'll see.
I'd say go back and read the series. It's very worthwhile thus far.

I completely agree with this.

I think Batman is good but not better than B&R, but it's still a good comic.

It is decent. It is at the moment also the most generic, skippable, and least important of the Batbooks. After Batgirl.

I decided to try this title on a whim after BFTC, and I have really enjoyed it quite a bit. Same goes with Red Robin. I read my brother's copy of B&R and... uh... yeah. Not for me.

You're definitely in a minority but I belong to it to. Batman & Robin might be objectively better but I've had more fun with Batman than B&R so far.

Remember when Dick was fighting that military guy, and he was getting beaten up, and he just all of a sudden said "That's it. I've seen enough." and punched the guy's lights out?
That was AWESOME.

Batman is definitely great, maybe not better or popular than B&R, but just as enjoyable. Classic Batman foes plotting behind the scenes, great actions, character developments and decent art by Bagley too. The 'Long Shadow' arc is not perfect and I have minor complains, but overall is worth a read

Bit of what I expected. Split opinions :)
Currently, I'm considering dropping Detective and trying on Batman again. Love the art in Detective, but still conflicted about the story. Though final verdict about it will fall next week I think, when I hopefully recieve the latest issue of it. (I do get annoyed of the ~2 week delivery times I have from the US  )
I've been checking some previews for batman again and I cant say I mind Bagleys art. I like it.

I've been enjoying Batman since Reborn began, and reading what everyone has said in the thread so far, I'm realizing it more than likely traces back to how much I favor character development when it comes to storytelling.
It's true that much of the story contained within isn't groundbreaking, but it has proven to be a solid read over these past few months.
Another consideration may be how much you've been enjoying the Question backups in Detective. From what I understand, the two features are flipflopping positions in a future Arc, with the Question taking the feature role. If you're not so fond of Renee, that could be the time period to "trial" Batman.

That flip flop isn't set in stone. And it wouldn't be for at least four(?) more issues. So, Batman, at that point could be entirely different than it is now.
For me, Batman's been an instore read... and even then, I've barely found it worth that.
I do wish Morrison would work on more characterization with Dick, though. That moment with Alfred in #2 was great!

Batman's a little on the light side, but still perfectly okay. I'd even say I look forward to it.

I like the use of the classic villains in Batman, which is in contrast to what Morrison is doing. And yeah, the characterization is good.

Morrison is creating new villains and new stories for a new Batman. It's refreshing, and it's nice to see some new faces. There is such thing as too much Joker.
Anyway, I find Winick's Batman to be a bit boring.
