As we enter into October it's time to think spooky and scary. This week's theme is "Classic Monsters", for examples: werewolves, vampires, witches, Frankenstein, and the Mummy.

Have fun and remember it must come from an actual comic book and voting ends at 1200am PST

This was my first issue of Forever People, bought back when I was buying any monster-themed comic I could find. I find it especially interesting that Kirby left the main characters off of the (primary) cover image on this one in favor of a (rather terrific) Frankenstein image.

Cool cover and nice evocation of one of comics' funniest bits of unintentional penis jokes, but you know, even when I first encountered Howard the Duck as a youngin that phrase always bothered me.

Trapped in a world he never made? As opposed to living in the world he came from, which he also didn't make?
