German men have today been voted the world's worst lovers - narrowly beating their British counterparts to the unwanted title.

A poll of 15,000 globe-trotting females found that Germans are too smelly to be a hit between the sheets.

English lovers came second because they are so lazy, while men from Sweden were branded 'too quick to finish' and took third place.

Spanish men topped the table as the best lovers, followed by Brazilians and Italians.

I wonder how women were approached to participate in this poll.
