Okay maybe not mess your pants but what was the last movie you saw that freaked you out? (I'm talking any type of movie here, hell High School Musical freaks me the hell out.)
I just watched The Mist (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Mist), the movie adaptation of Stephen King's book. While I'm not usually a fan of King's work (mostly because lot of his stuff was before my time so things I find cliché now were probably cutting edge back in the day) but this movie had me going 'wtf?!' at multiple intervals. I adore apocalyptic horror / thriller flicks, especially ones that don't over explain themselves. Which is what ruined The Happening for me.
The other recent movie which I am 99% sure I won't watch again until I'm in a well-lit room full of people is Cloverfield. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloverfield) Amazing concept and freaked me out quite a bit.
If anyone has any more recommendations for on-the-edge-of-your-seat thrillers feel free to throw them my way.

[REC] shat me up more so than the rather pointless American remake. I do like the trailer for the sequel (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LViRewwSsf0&feature=fvw) which suggests more pantshitting antics for all.
Ghostwatch (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPTDHEeLI0A) always craps me up too, even if it is starting to show it's age.

Dude, awesome! Direct sequel (it looks like in this story they're going back to the same apartment building like a day after the first movie happened), but this time it's like a first-person shooter. Loved [REC], and this just looks like a continuation of awesomeness.

Extended cut of all three Lord of the Rings movies back to back with no bathroom breaks?

Just the one scene with Frodo and Bilbo in Rivendale is enough to freak me out. I mean that scene just totally came out of left field, even if you had read the books and no there's a similar passage taken from the book.
But I think just watching one of those without any bathroom breaks is enough to mess you pants Karen, lets not ruin the seats along with it shall we.

While I literally almost crapped my pants when I saw Speed, years ago (I had to go, and the movie just would NOT END! I wanted Dennis Hopper or Keanu Reeves to just kill the other and be done with it so I could run to the can) I also nearly didn't make it all the way through Spider-Man 2 the first time I saw it (I ducked out of Doc Ock wrecking the diner).
Now, while those were just times nature was calling during films I saw in theatres, the last film that freaked me the hell out was John Carpenter's "In the Mouth of Madness". Freaky, freaky stuff. Yes, at some parts it's just weird and low-budget gore, it's the parts towards the end that are unclear, but contain some unspoken Lovecraftian horrors that freak me out.

The Blair Witch Project. Made me vomit, literally. Fortunately i made it to a safe place to vomit before i did. I really, REALLY hate shakeycam. And i hated this movie. Which is sad, as i wanted to like it.
The only other movie that had a eww reaction to me was Austin Powers 2. I will not watch any of the others after that.
The only movies i ever felt creeped out about have been The Silence of the Lambs, and Godzilla vs. Hedorah(aka the Slime Monster).

The Dark Knight
I was not going to get up from my seat in case I missed something. And I went in to the theater fully expecting to hate Heath Ledger's performance as Joker. I exited the theater raving about how awesome Ledger's performance was.
I think that the lot of you might want to go see a Gastrointestinaloligst.

The toilet scene in Trainspotting is rather gross and creepy.
I'd think it was actually the number one worst toilet in Scotland though as the public loos in Port Glasgow were actually even more disgusting!

That part freaks me out to, I turn away until his sudden creepy face is all over with. I adore freaking my fiancée out from time to time, I do a great Gollum impersonation.

I loved the Mist, as I tend to enjoy that sort of unseen-Lovecraftian horror quite a bit. It also has one of the most fucked up endings of all time.

I know! It was believable but still all kinds of messed up. I turned to my partner last night during the end of the film and said, 'wouldn't it be funny is such and such happened?' and it did!

The funny thing about that ending: It was added on, and is not in the actual story. The novella ends with a more upbeat, hopeful but scared train of thought. Almost the last 30 mins of the movie was created by the director, with the authors blessing. It IS easily one of the most downbeat endings i have ever seen, but the movie was good.

I know..sadly i thought of it as well. There are times i hate when the subconcious talks to me during movies.

My favourite part of the movie - when that crazy religious bitch gets hit in the head with a can of peas.

The only film that's genuinely SCARED me is Event Horizon. That scene with the decrypted log...I don't know it's like it works on me on an almost subliminal level. I felt genuinely ill after I first saw it. I mean I can shrug of Gorn, video nasties etc but that film, or at least that scene, just makes me need to sleep with the lights on

That movie creeped me out, but not for the log..which is disturbing, but for the ending. My mind kept imaging what would happen AFTER the movie ends for the main character...
