so I was bored and dug out some old issues and was reading and got a load of all those charatcers that were churned out during the ninties and it got me thinking...

are there any really obscure X characters that you would like to see brought back and perhaps given a prominent place in a current X-title?

Neurotap or Archer in X-Force?
a 616 Switchback in New Mutants?
Empyrean in...well...maybe not him...

I loved Archer and Fixx! They have cool powers as well as visuals to boot. Plus they have some pretty cool story potential in that they inhabit the bodies of people from the present time.

I didn't think anyone liked Archer or Fixx. I was too embarrassed to admit it, but I like both of them and Greystone as well. I wouldn't mind a comeback, I'm sure those characters could be tweaked subtly to make them relevant to the status quo.

I didn't mind Greystone that much, but Fixx and Archer were pretty sick. It kinda sucks that they got shunned off into limbo so quickly. And I bet no one has any idea who they are, or they would have at least shown up as uncanny wallpaper by now. I guess if they did come back, I'd like to see an actual story with them, and not have them appear randomly in one panel of uncanny.

archer and fixx came to my head quickly as well. though I didn't like them at first cuz I was a big fan of the forge era xfactor and the series altered direction when they arrived, I appreciate them more now and think they are visually fascinating characters. I don't think anybody does know about them though, which is a shame...

maybe cable should come back and put them in a new incarnation of six pack...

X-Cell is supposedly going to turn up in X-Factor at some point in the next year (PAD interview hinted at that, if I recall) so you may seen Marrow at some point soon.

CeCe is kind of still a question mark after she turned up in NYX: Long Way Home a few months back. We know she's got Beast's phone number, apparently.

atleast Ruckus and Gorgeous George. somehow their only real prominence was in the 90's X-Men cartoon. they aren't bogged down by the cloning. maybe PAD could dust tem off.

they were awesome in the AoA and didn't really get to do much. would be cool in a gen x return as members or villains. still can be powered.

speaking of the AoA, a 616 Switchback and a more prominent Damask.

Abyss and Holocaust should be back with Apocalypse as actual threats like in the AoA. I don't like what they did to 616 Abyss at all. especially the depowerment.

I would like to see Phantazia out of the asylum and back into use as well, I always thought she was visualy interesting and like her strange powerset.

I liked sienna blaze's run in exiles. I always thought it was strange they have her and reaper such prominent roles in that series then relegated them back to obscurity...

PAD only said that he might adress the X-Cell events again next year, which ones though he wasn't clear about. So he might either revisit the three lost X-cell members (Fatale, Reaper and Abyss) or the two escaped ones who learned the truth about M-day.
So even if he revists X-cell, the chances are only 50% that Marrow might have something to do with it.

Fatale certainly seems to be more usefull than miss invisible striper from the last Uncanny issue.

I love Reaper! He became a favorite during the Ultraverse Exiles series, and Fatale was a favorite ninties villainess of mine.

what I'd like to see is Forge didn't tie but shunted off to another dimension where he finds Reaper, Abyss, and Fatale. They are repowered and come back to 616 as new Brotherhood along with Random and Tempo.

If there were ever a Gambit ongoing again, I'd like to see her as a frequently appearing rogue. She appeared around the time I started actually reading my comics full way through instead of just looking at the pictures and only reading panels I thought looked cool.

Sebastian is a classic. Shinobi is seriously dated, he looks like a hair metal reject. There is nothing to be done with him.

I would like to see Forearm on the current X-Isle home. He wavered in his commitment to evil deeds and always seemed like someone likely to switch over to the X-side, much more than Dragoness who they seem to enjoy flaunting...

Amelia Voght is another one I never understood why they can't give her more love. Fascinating character, cool powers, great history with...well...just about everybody...and yet always relegated to the background.
