The all sound really cool.

So they are going to tackle the MONARCH debacle from countdown?

That was a given with Captain Atom.

Why not just ask us to stop breathing?

Will someone please tell me this insistence that both sets of Superman's parents have to be old? This obsession with the movie has long passed the annoying point.

I had a theory about Captain Atom/Monarch.

He was destroyed as Captain Atom and returned as Monarch (evil) ... and then he was destroyed as Monarch and came back as Captain Atom (amnesia). So maybe ... detonation causes him to reform with reversed polarities?

I have a better one: Monarch was a Captain Atom from another universe.

I thought Darkseid corrupted his soul.

Who says that Jor-El is old? Maybe he went prematurely gray. Look at Steve Martin. He was going gray in the 1970's, while still in his 20's.

I have a even better one: Monarch is Hank Hall

All in all, I like the direction where the Super titles are going. Finally we're going to see the fate of Steel.

That picture with all the wrinkles on his face clearly modeled on Marlon Brando says it. Unless you think that in addition to being prematurely gray, Jor-El was a big fan of tanning.
