- The new Crimson Dynamo, Galina, is revealed to be the daughter of Madame X - she and the Scarlet Beetles create a giant cockroach palace, dedicated to overthrowing humanity.
- Darkstar, facing opposition from her own team goes into hiding ...
- Russia, left with no heroes, is overrun by EVIL!
- The book ends with villains claiming that Russia is just a small step on their way to total global domination.

OMG I can't believe Russia has been overrun by villains. If I were only a few years older, I'd make some sort of topical comment about that last sentence.
