This is so grammatically wrong that it hurts me to reply.

Linkin Park suck. They sold out to the masses.

1999 called, they want their shitty 'nu-metal' back.

Oh, wait. No they don't.

Yyyyeah, no, not a fan. They're one of those bands whose popularity disheartens me.

I was actually a big fan of their initial "Hybrid Theory" album, as they seemed to take a lot of the elements of nu-metal and make something fairly fresh through repetition. Yeah, the music and lyrics were simplistic, but no more so than a lot of other popular bands within the same genre (and on the top of the charts in any genre, for that matter). They're live show was quite good as well, even in 2003.

However, since that first album we've had a remix album, a rehash of that album, a live album and this latest offering, none of which have provided anything fresh or innovative at all. I shouldn't have been surprised by that, but I was still disappointed to find that they peaked with their very first offering.

Anyone who's interested in nu-metal type stuff that actually progresses should check out Sevendust, as they've been at it for quite some time, and have put out some pretty good albums.

I liked their 3rd CD better then their first musically. Lyrically the 1st CD was interesting as far as being a former dope user, the albums lyrics had alot to do with struggles of dope use IMO. The 2nd one sucked. I enjoyed the remix with Jay-Z somewhat. The 3rd CD was a good time. Plus I saw them live twice & was blowmn away by the last show I saw.
