Anyone excited for this?
My XBox broke and I should be getting it back today if the UPS guy did leave it in the garage like I asked. He probably did because I live out in the middle of nowhere and he probably doesn't want to have to come back.
I think it looks cool. I'm not a stichler for new game innovations. If I like a game well enough I want more, and thats exactly what this is going to do.
Some of the new features look pretty cool as does the new Zombie/Horde mode that the name escapes me on.
I can't wait. I'm going to try and finish Batman: AA before monday night. Its going to be a tuff feat, but I feel I can accomplish it.

Is this the stradegy style Halo? I was watching a trailer for it, and as a person just recently having played Halo 1 and 2, I think I am more excited to get 360 and this game then I am Halo 3.

No, that's Halo Wars you're thinking of. Halo 3: ODST goes through the events of Halo 2 & 3 (I think) through the eyes of a marine.

I very like the commercial. That's what a Halo movie shpuld be like.

Yeah that's the one that looked good to me. But as a fan of stradegy/RPG games more than shooters, I am not surprised.
I watched the trailer for ODST and it looks to be a good game as well. It might be a nice departure from actually playing Cheif or an Elite. But for sure I gotta play Halo 3 to get the story behind it first.

So did people get this?
I'm really enjoying it. Just different enough I like it but similar enough it feels good. I know people will say it isn't different enough but I think so.

I haven't even a 360 yet, but plan to after playing Halo 1 and 2. But what I read about it, I think I might enjoy it more than the other Halo games. From what I read at wikipedia, there seems to be some detective work involved in the campaign, that makes it a little more cerebral than just blowing shit up like the original Halo games.
Not to say that I don't enjoy blowing shit up, but if that is all there is, there isn't much replay value to a game like that. Especially when there are no unlockables for meeting certain criterias. It's probably going to be Christmas before I get a 360, but I am really looking forward to this and Wars more than I am Halo 3.

I just watched this epic commercial for this game on Hulu. HFS...that intro makes this game so exciting. And I have never played Halo (Playstation guy) so I have no preconceived notions. This trailer was amazing though.

Firefight is good. I played it with my friend over the weekend. I mostly want it to unlock the maps for Halo 3 they make you buy to play ranked MP. That really harshed my mellow.

Where can I find a Halo 3 internet cafe in Manila? This question is for fellow gamers living in Metro Manila, Philippines. Do any of you know a place where they rent Xbox 360s for playing Halo 3 or other great games? I don't think it's time to invest in a new console yet, so I would much rather go to an internet cafe for now.
