Cool fight scenes. Pity it's the final issue(at least of the regular series, AOA vs X-Men is still in the works)Sad to see this series go. The arts grittier than it was in early issues. Not sure whether that's good or bad. This issue is relatively dark, but the series is so light even at its darkest that you kindy wonder if a cartoonier artist might have been better.

I really liked the art. Bummer about the series being done. I won't be following it into the realm of $3.99. Wasn't the new price point on the top sellers supposed to allow series like this to continue at $2.99? Ah well, the lies continue.

I really doubt Agents of Atlas is gonna be $3.99 upon it's relaunch I mean if Brother/Doctor Vodoo and Spider Woman are gonna be $2.99 what makes you think it will be different for Agents of Atlas?

Now if you're talking about the back-ups in Incredible Herc I'm in complete agreement seeing as how I'm not gonna pay $3.99 for 10pgs of Agents of Atlas.

Okay finale. Parker's run on his this series has been typified by good humour, but fairly dull plots; the conflict between Atlas and the Great Wall is supposed to be huge, but it feels really small. The biggest single problem is probably Jade Claw, who was bland and ill-defined as a love interest and is the same as a villain. Why was Jimmy ever attracted to her? She was pretty, is about the extent of what we know about their old relationship.

I thought it was a great finale. Wrapped up the ongoing story and left enough threads lying around to pick up on for the backups and relaunch.

I'm glad Parker went in the direction he did with Temugin. When he was initially introduced I figured he and Lao were being set up as the villains of the story and plotting a coup. Much more interesting though to see him mature and take on some leadership and responsibility.

Parker's humor was there in spades too. M-11 as Ali was good stuff especially with the twist.

Looking forward to the X-Man crossover. Not sure though if I'll follow the backup or wait for it to be collected at this point.

I would have preferred for her to display much more cunning. She seemed much cruder in her attacks than I expected. You'd think the female version of an already cunning villain would be cunning-incarnate. Instead she was pretty RRRAAAHHHRR, which is something you'd expect more from The Mandarin than from fem Yellow Claw.

Outstanding issue. I laughed and laughed at M-11 spouting Muhamed Ali lines. Jimmy's tenuous alliance with Temugin and Ken's morale (and power) boosting of the Human Robot were also high points. This was comic book goodness.

Jimmy Woo is the coolest (non powered) cat in comics. And Jeff Parker needs a promotion.

Great series. I hear what Captain Canada's saying about weak plots, but most comic book stories (and stories in general) are reiterations of familiar themes. What matters (to me) is characterization, and AoA had that in spades. In most team books, there are characters that I like to see, and characters that I skip over. In this book, everyone was interesting; I couldn't pick a favorite. The last issue did seemed rushed, but rather that than drag it out over too many issues.

I wouldn't mind as much if the characterization was stronger, but in this whole series, who's gotten any real development? Namora and Temugin are the only ones that spring to mind, really; the others are mostly there for jokes. Decent jokes, sure, but still.

That strikes me as enough, to be honest. Ken sort of exists as comedy relief and a supporting character, and I'm not sure what Parker could do with him. Bob got a few moments; especially the one in issue #10 where it shows how much the team relies on him and asks of him and he never complains or shows any sign of getting tired really speaks volumes, more than any conversation could I think. M-11 is a tough character I think since he doesn't actually talk and lets his actions speak for him, though #11 throws that into question so that's cool for future stories.

The backup in Hercules looks like it'll be focusing on Venus, so I expect she'll finally get some time do something else besides singing. She's overdue too, since we haven't had much outside of the Siren revelation.

I think the short length of the run is partially to blame too. Especially since issues #2-#4 struck me as a wasted opportunity too; not much happened at all.

This was a good final issue although it is kinda too rushed. Jade Claw could be a more promising villainess, but tough luck for her.

Jimmy Woo has still a long way on becoming a terrific leader on par with Captain America and Nick Fury.

Hey, has Ken Hale ever met or fought Arthur Nagan? Seems like a natural encounter...

I hope Jeff Parker sees this post and runs with the idea... I love it!

That's one of my other problems with this series. He gets talked up to high heavens, but what has he done that's impressive?

Always quality read....I wish M-11 woulda kept the Ali persona though. That was gold! Or at least have a gimmick where he uses different personalities every other issue or so.
