I just thought this would be a handy thread, and I hadn't seen one to date.

Unlike Sinestro Corps war, which typically read best as GL, GLC, GL, GLC, etc., with the specials having the least cohesive fit in the whole thing, but still pretty easy to figure out, Blackest Night seems to be jumping around a bit more, and I thought it might be helpful to try to pin down the best reading order.

As far as I can tell, that really should be:

Green Lantern #43
Blackest Night #0
Blackest Night #1
Green Lantern #44
Blackest Night #2
Green Lantern #45
Green Lantern Corps #39
Green Lantern Corps #40

...it just seems like GLC is off sort of doing its own thing right now, whereas GL and BN are alternating telling the Hal Jordan and other DCU heroes story.

Thoughts?

Also the Blackest Night mini's (Supes, Bats and Titans)

and Solomon Grundy 7

and Blackest Night: Tales of the Corps.

Not sure. I think most of the tie-ins are pretty auxiliary so far... I'm more concerned with the core books.

One fairly useful trick: if you see an event with Black Lantern Power level 7.34%, you can be sure that event happens after an event with Black Lantern Power Level 5.83%.

(The percentages I've pulled out are fairly random; it more the idea that the Black Lantern power level effectively gives a timeline that's important.)

Hey! Very good point.

Honestly plot points bleed into, or are referrenced in, other books, making a "pure" reading order somewhat impossible, but hopefully we can come up with the optimal one over time to help everyone enjoy the event fully.
