Sales? Not sure if it is still selling as well as it was when johns was writing it, But it is nowhere near cancellation numbers yet. Plus the next two issues are tieing into the Blackest Night event with Booster gold and the new blue beetle fighting the Ted kord as a black lantern.
Booster gold is awesome.
Do you like good time travel stories?
Colourful superheroes and funny dialogue?
Funny scenarios?
heartfelt moments?
Well then this book is for you. Do yourself a favour and go out and get the first trade paperback called 52 PICKUP. It continues on from where Booster;s big story arc in 52 left off.

I've enjoyed what I've read (the first 12 issues or so). One good thing about this title it that, aside from a few issues here and there, the creative team has stayed the same for TWO WHOLE YEARS.
That's bloody good work for a DC book. Hopefully we'll see more of the same with titles like Secret Six, Streets of Gotham and the like.

i love Booster Gold, Geoff Johns kicked it off really well and Dan Jurgens is continuing the great work.

Booster Gold is one of the few comics that is flat out true to what a comic should be in this day of all controlling mega crossovers.
Then again, I'm probably just biased after reading issue 24 and realizing that the married couple in that issue (who probably only know each other in passing in the regular DCU timeline) actually make perfect sense, and probably should be together in the main DCU. ;)

It's Red Hulk all over again.
Who cares who Black Beetle is now? Seriously. Just rip off his mask, time travel back, kill him as a baby, and move on to the next story arc!
I'm looking forward to the issue with the Black Lantern Ted Kord.
The previous arc with Mister Mind was SO GOOD! Why is this arc SO BORING?

I slightly disagree.
While I am kinda interested to find out who the BLACK BEETLE is, I don't let it hold back my enjoyment of the current issues and stories.
Trigin taking over the world was pretty cool and the deathstroke fight was sweet.

To be fair, I do like Black Beetle's "Everything you think you know about me? It's a lie. Because I like lying. And lying likes me. My actual name is Liar McLiarson. Or is it?" routine.

I mostly agree, except that I think she's too old for him (she's roughly Bruce Wayne's age, and he's roughly Dick Greyson's age.)
While I still enjoy Booster Gold, I admit, at this point I am more curious about what will happen next in the Blue Beetle feature next month.

True, but aren't Dick and Bruce reasonably close in age anyways? I could of sworn there wasd a scene in one of the batbooks (I wish I could remember which one) a few years ago that had a flashback to when Bruce was trying to gain custody of Dick not long after his parents deaths, and someone in the court tried using how close in age they were as a reason why it shouldn't happen.
Either way, the idea of two people who've pretty much always had bad luck with relationships getting together (even if it was a messed up timeline) as they were in the Booster issue was still a nice touch.

The questions you need to ask yourself are this.
Do you like comics? Do you like super hero books that are fun? Enjoyable? Awesome? Want to read something that makes you smile and feel like the money you just spent was worth every last dime? Then read Booster Gold! Who cares about sales? Your purchase is all that matters to you!

And the Black Beetle Mistery is...
CONTINUED!! Black Beetle is so much a liar. Unless he has a card on his sleeve, he's kinda screwed right now.

This.
If you're like me you have a number of pulls every month that you read month in and month out and you enjoy them all, you really do otherwise you wouldn't drop your hard earned cash for 'em.
But out of those titles there's one or two that you are always a bit happier to see than the others. There's a few titles that you are REALLY looking forward to that you're torn between reading them first thing after you get back from your LCS or saving it for last.
For me, Booster Gold is that book.
Every issue has been a joy to read. This title more than any other being produced by DC now encapsulates everything that's great about the DCU.
It's a never ending mash note to the rich tapestry of DC Comics as Booster can, at any point, show up anywhere throughout history and team up with any hero to take on any villain, past present or future.
I still enjoy comics but Booster Gold is one of the few books out there currently that remind me of what comic books used to be. And despite that familiarity Jurgens' pencils and scripts are so dynamic they make Booster one of the most interesting, thought provoking characters DC has at the moment.
The only other way I can explain this book is to ask anyone if they've ever read a graphic novel or a comic or trade that was so good your first thought was to go out and snag multiple copies to give to friends and family?
Booster Gold is a title that I pick up multiple copies of for that very purpose.
'You always wanted to know why Uncle Wayne loves comics? Here, read Booster teaming up with Jonah Hex and see for yourself.'
Just awesome, awesome stuff.
And I'm terrified that the book will lose steam post-Blackest Night so I'm hoping that sales remain brisk once the crossover comes to a close.

Booster Gold is so good, it's been my only constant DC book for two years now. I'm hoping it stays in it's own continuity and does not bleed into the rest of the DC universe. I'm a little worried about the Blackest Night crossover as that series is boring the crap out of me (yes, I appear to be the only one).

Or not. Remember, this is Black Beetle we're talking about, Liar McLiarson Mentira D'Ludibriador. All we know about him is:
1. He has a aparently humanoid body.
2. He has a aparently-human face and white skin.
3. He is sentient and intelligent.
4. He has a reich scarab.
5. His native time period is somewhere between 12 billion BC and the end of time.
6. He hates Jaime and Michel's guts.
That's it. For all we know, the "face" is in reality a mask, his members are made of scarab armor for ease of movement, and he's in reality a amorphous time-travelling alien blob from 100.000.000 AD... in Earth 2. Maybe he deliberately put Hector out of the way, so Blue Beetle will never suspect Hector and therefore Black Beetle won't be ever know.
