His work on Adventure Comics #1 absolutely blew me away. Most beautiful style I've seen in a looooong time. He's PERFECT for this book.

well they must have decided that quickly. With this interview and dan didio talking about how geoff is working on new krypton through Adventure last week this came out of nowhere

Well that sucks for Adventure. It's not like Johns to leave a book so early into his run. I wonder who will take over, likely Sterling Gates...

Whaaaat? They're BOTH leaving after only six issues?

I have to admit this is upsetting, and normally I don't care.

Gah, well, I'll enjoy it while it lasts.

It felt like some kind of cruel joke to read all that about how he thought this was the perfect comic for his style, and then at the bottom: Geoff Johns and Francis Manapul leave in issue #6.

Alas, I hope whoever picks it up is good. I guess Geoff can't write every comic for the dcu, as much as i would like him too. I'll probably look into anything Francis draws as well.

Great artist. Possibly some of the nicest art in the business at the moment.

Sad to see him leave adventure comics.

I will follow him on to the flash instead.

Why the hell is Geoff leaving A.C? I thought Superboy was his favourite character.

Flash is his favorite character, though he supposedly has an affinity for Conner.

And it appears he's leaving Adventure Comics to make way for Paul Levitz to take over the title.

Where this leaves Conner is anybody's guess.

Hopefully doing anything else but ruminating about Lex Luthor being half-his daddy until the end of time.

Paul Levitz still outranks Geoff Johns on the DC food chain.

Well at least it free Johns up to return to JSA once he finishes his Superman and Shazam projects.
