Bob Barker just threatened to bend Chris Jericho over his knee on Raw!

That whole opening segment was priceless!

It was a perfect show until HHH appeared!

Well, with any luck that's all we'll have to see from The Ego is Huge!

Bob Barker is currently #2 on Twitter's trending topics. A lot of people saw his name show up on the list and thought he was dead and he immediately shot to the top with RIPs and condonlences!

Awesome!

Correction. It was a shitty show until HHH appeared. In fact, it's still pretty lame, but nothing else seems to be on tonight. Sigh. Smackdown is by far the superior show these days.

Do any of your cable providers have WWEOnDemand? It's a pretty cool channel that allows you to access past episodes of RAW, Smackdown, WCCW, Nitro, ECW, etc.

Price is Right Bob Barker?

Well, it's not so cool once you consider how many REAL sexual harassment suits he's had filed against him when he was hosting that show. :frown:

I wish he was younger than 85... Barker was given martial arts training by Chuck Norris back in the day, supposedly. Guy would've been kicking everyone's asses.

You could tell the look of pain on Jericho and Rotunda's faces in this. They cleary did not wanna do that opening. You can see they were forced into this and its better to try and make chicken shit , outta chicken salad.

I was like...this is funny ? On what level ? Doing a whole RAW riff on the Price is Right ? It got old after the 1st segment. I never turned back. Props to Rotunda for at least trying to make it funny ... "Does this account for taxes Bob ?" "Bob , everyone has to pay....the tax man."

yesterday's telecast had to be the absolute worst and most ridiculous RAW has ever cranked out... what a shame that it had to happen in my hometown... truly the WWE and RAW has hit the bottom of the barrel... Bob Barker seems like a really nice guy, but the whole concept was just... *facepalm*... so embarrassing... truly Stephanie, HHH, and all the other scriptwriters for the show need to be severely bitchslapped for this farce and Vince even moreso for giving the final ok to all of this...

did you ever watch or see something so ridiculous and so bad that even though you're not responsible for it, it made YOU feel so stupid and bad for watching it?... watching it all, I could just feel my face getting red and warm from embarrassment... well this is what happened last night... I kept on watching, hoping it was just a momentary thing and that the concept would all go away in short order... unfortunately that wasn't the case...

if there was any reason for someone who has been disheartened the way that the WWE and wrestling has gone as of late and that they were thinking of dropping RAW from their viewing schedule, then last night's telecast would be and should be the incentive to do so...

think I'm just gonna stick with TNA... thank God for Jeff Jarrett's brand of wrestling... it may all be bullshit in the long run, but at least he doesn't pump out the kind of wrestling "entertainment" crap that Vince does...

Well let's call it what it is.

A sitcom with a cast of scabs.

I don't mean "scab" in the negative fashion, but I call it like I see it.

It's "Saturday Night Live" on Monday Nights with much beefy male, and cosmetically enhanced female actors with very limited comedic skills. Oh, and less famous celebrity guests.

I watched this today. I thought it was funny and entertaining. It was awkward in a few spots, but it was fun too. Who isn't a bob barker fan? The ovation said it all at the start. I thought the interview with Bob was classy, and they did a good job of promoting his book and his charity. It wasn't a standard wrestling show, but considering how Raw has been for a long time now, this was refreshing and more entertaining than what they've done since the draft.

Maybe it's me.

If Chuck Norris trained him . . . he can still kick everyone's asses. (Except for Norris, of Corris.)

I love the fact how they kept the name-tags, the music, etc. so close to the show.

Out of all the 'guest host' shows this has been my favorite.

Wrong, Dewd--try Bruce Lee. James Coburn, Steve McQueen and Barker were students around the same time.

Would you honestly expect Jericho to come out and say this thing sucked and he hated being out there for it ? Guys a company man. He will back them 1st. Regardless if its shitty crap he has to do.

Would you honestly expect us to believe your opinions of the show as truth over the words and reactions of the actual people (Jericho) involved in it?

You didn't like it. No big. But don't act like you have the inside track to understanding or knowing what Jericho or others think and feel.

Hell , did we actually see the same thing ? I saw them look like they were in pain at that sketch and just trying to make it thru it. Go back and rewatch and ask yourself if Jericho and Rotunda aren't trying to take a shit thru that ...because sure they did the lines...but they sure as hell seemed like they didn't wanna be out there.

Well, I wasn't sure how much of Jericho's reaction was acting, and how much of it was his real, honest reaction. The way I understood it, he was SUPPOSED to not want to participate in the 'Price is Right' parody.

I know exactly what you mean. I remember back in the late 80's, early 90's (can't remember exactly), when for a Thanksgiving Pay-Per-View, the WWF(at the time) had this giant golden egg going around the country to promote the PPV event. I was working at the local cable company at the time, and we were brought down with the "golden egg" to a shopping mall, to promote the event, and try to sign up new cable customers. So there's this enormous giant egg sitting there, and we're set up like security around it. Anyway, flash forward to the PPV event, which was being held in Hartford, and it's time to reveal the egg. Out pops some poor schnook in a huge turkey get up. The audience went into a riot of boos, and some things I probably shouldn't even type! Needless to say, it was an enormous flop of a reveal. I went home still laughing about that (I had gotten in free for working the whole "mall security" thing), and watched the PPV rebroadcast (does anyone just say "re run" anymore?), and at the exact moment of the "Gobbledy Gooker" reveal (can you imagine who the hell thought THAT one up?), the audio went real low and the announcers are trying to cover it up "The Hartford audience loves this...listen to the chants! Everyone loves a little gobbler on Thanksgiving I guess!" type of chatter. I was like "turn the audio back up, you'll hear folks telling Vince where to shove that bird suit, and the whole idea".

So nah, Bob Barker on Raw certainly hasn't been the WORST idea Vince and CO have ever come up with!

I've watched it....and thought Jericho was fantastic actually. He was SUPPOSE to look like he didn't want to be there. Did you not see where Barker called him out over and over and over...and he finally comes out? That was the part he was playing. You know it's not real right? It's a part he plays?

Rotunda just looks nervous to be back on tv the whole time to me.

Jericho is not a company man. Did you read his recent interview where he called them out for not making any new stars in the last several years among other things?

I wouldn't expect him to actually come out and say he hated the whole thing, but I don't think he would have gone out of his way to talk about how awesome the whole thing was (like he did) if he didn't actually think so. He just wouldn't have said anything.

I saw it differently....and turned it after the match started. Rotunda has been on TV before this a few months back. I Said a line or two and left. It seemed a lot better TV spot than this though.

I can't wait til this makes RD Reynolds Wrestlecrap soon. The spot with Jericho giving me the "why me lord" look , Rotunda looking he wanted off there asap , Santino happy to be on TV again , and Jillian Hall as well.....this could be awesome for an entry.

It must be interesting in your head. It's like you've become Erik....unable to see beyond your own opinion....even when the people involved in the actual show say otherwise. Awesome.
