Though I readily admit I could be dead wrong, I'm thinking an Indigo Lantern Diana.
Your guess?

I'm hoping she'll be an Indigo Lantern, but it's being written by Johns, who has a spotty history with Wonder Woman at best, so who knows.

The WW Blackest Night mini is being helmed by Rucka. And I don't doubt the continuity-heavy aspects of whatever happens to WW will extend much beyond that mini within Blackest Night or even within the core mini itself.

I don't want it to be, but I'm thinkin' that's a Black Lantern Wonder Woman 'cause of the arm and leg band elements. It'd be a trip if the lasso was also tied into a noose.
Peace.

Could be pre-Crisis WW as a Black Lantern.

Having not given it much thought, the idea of her being an Indigo lantern sounds awesome. Definitely hoping for that now.

How in heaven's name did you come up with "Indigo Lantern" for a blackened out shape?

It's Black Lantern old school Wonder Woman. Is her Mom still alive, cause if not, it could be her.

Well, a blackened shape can be anything(to the extent of what would fit in that space) and I'm pretty sure they've done that before for one the figure that ends of being a little spoilery to the story. Given that it's the Blackest Night one, it's not too insane a stretch.
That aside, pretty positive the Indigo lantern thing wouldn't happen, though it's still an interesting thought.

Maybe it's a Star Sapphire Wonder Woman

Ah, yeah, I've seen that image. I don't see her with a lasso, though. I think that character is just a random Star Sapphire.
Star Sapphire Wonder Woman would be very cool.

It looks like a lasso to me, but I haven't seen the image in almost a month so my mind must've been playing tricks. You have to admit though it could be her, the tiara and the skirt (not sure of the proper name).

I don't see any lasso -- or hands, for that matter. The tiara is a standard part of the Star Sapphire costume. Aside from her hair, which could just as easily be Carol Ferris's if Carol weren't otherwise accounted for, I don't see any reason to think that's Diana.

Just looks like a random Star Sapphire in the background of a Blue Lantern and Orange Lantern fighting.

I think Pryde is referring to the glowing yellow in that scene. But the glowing yellow in that scene isn't the magic lasso. It's the aura of a Sinestro (a Yellow Lantern member).

Now, I'm no GL buff and have only read a bit of the current GL/GLC. However, don't most of the Star Sapphires have basically the same uniform (as bad as it is)? This one as a strappy-skirt thing that somewhat resembles the ones worn by Diana in various appearances (eg, Hypothetical Woman). Have we seen anything like that on other Star Sapphires?

They all have common elements, but a lot of variants. And yeah, we have.

There's been a few rumors that Donna would be getting a new look soon and we know she's about to be severely affected by Blackest Night this month in the Titans related series. Maybe this figure is my favorite Amazon, Donna Troy?

One thought I had was that it could be a Black Lantern Genocide. That would, technically, be Diana's body.

That's my thought as well, Hyperion. After all, Donna has known (great?) love and lost it (hubby and kids). In any case, I just hope our Wonder-gals are treated well and get a good story out of it.

WW:Blackest Night isn't affecting the regular WW title as Gail hasn't even been consulted, so she's not going to be a Black Lantern. My bet is she temporarily becomes an Indigo/Green/Violet/Whatever Lantern

Donna is going to be in Robinson's JLA, so I doubt it. I think we'll see a big change with Diana soon. She might be a blue lantern, I doubt Indigo, since she doesn't have the staff, but either way, I think there are some interesting days for Diana ahead.

Maybe it could be Earth 2 Wonder Woman. She was last seen in IC, ans supposedly faded away, but if Jade (who disintegrated when she gave up her green power) can return with a body, who is to say that the original Wonder Woman can't?

Yeah, I think that's the most likely, especially with Earth-2 Superman shambling around.

With the armlets, I'm thinking it could be Donna Troy. Terry and Robert seem to be paying her a visit in Blackest Night: Titans. Robert may be robbing her of her heart when it's filled with love and hope...
The lasso could be the silver lasso at her side–I love the idea posted that it could be a noose.
I can see a Donna Troy Black Lantern visiting Kyle alongside Jade and Alex, as well as Diana along with a whole lotta other Amazon Black Lanterns in Blackest Night: Wonder Woman.
Just a thought...

i think it's an Indigo as well. I would be surprised if DC killed Diana again just to make her a Black Lantern. Of anyone in the DCU, Diana embodies Compassion, right ? The Indigos are nomads and tribal looking. Their outfits are not as sleek and form fitting as the other Lanterns. Even the lasso in that pic looks thicker, more coarse. Almost like heavy rope or thick twine.

Now its like they are the RAINBOW Lanterns!

I disagree because its the most growth in any corner of the DCU that we've seen in a long time.

After seeing the Indigo Lanterns make their big Blackest Night entrance in #3, I'm definitely leaning towards Diana becoming (temporarily) an Indigo Lantern.

How in heaven's name did you come up with "Indigo Lantern" for a blackened out shape? Beause EVS has said that of the DC trinity, Johns has them corresponding to yellow, blue and indigo.
And the figure is definitely a figure of Wondy.
