Can't believe there's not a thread on this. I think this may be my absolute favorite title at the moment. Both the writing and the art are outstanding.

Part of me hates to see Janet gone. She was a very likable character and I think we all know who was responsible for her death. Of course, her likability just makes her death that more poignant.

Lots of unanswered questions in this issue:

Why did Cole dig up Shaw's body and cut off his hand?

Why did Alpha One bury the bomb on the ball field?

Was Alpha One telling the truth about his origin, or was that a bunch of BS?
And if it was the truth, what's his real story?
(Nice way to work in the Superman comics, btw.)

And, of course, what is Cole going to find at Sanctuary and will Alpha One catch him at it?

I believe this series is supposed to reach a climax in #12. Can't wait to see what it is and where things go from there.

Please tell me I'm not the only one reading this book!

Yeah, This series continues to get better and better and the art is crisp and simply. It works well for this sort of title.

One of my favourite reads each month.

Cole is putting together all the clues to take down alpha one and I can see him planning his resistance soon. He will need some big guns to take down alpha one.

One small nitpick, I wish the cliffhangers were a bit more dramatic.

I almost forgot, I had a nitpick too. The first page misquoted the Bible reference. Should have been 1 Corinthians 13, not Corinthians 1:13.

Guess it's just you and me reading this title, General. A real pity.

Jim, I bet there are more people on CBR reading this,I seen a few people added to their pull lists.

Why they are not posting? I don't know yet. But I wish they would come out of the woodwork:smile:

I added The Mighty to my pull list because of feedback here on CBR, General Grievous

Yeah, I don't see many threads for the series, but maybe that will change going forward. The Mighty is a limited series, and DC plans on doing more with it. So, does that mean a volume 2 in the future? I'm not sure how long the current run will be tho. I'm thinking maybe 12+ issues?

I believe if the first 12 are recieved well. They will make more Mighty comics in the future.

Sadly, I can't see this series selling well. maybe people will try the trades.

At least the writers will get a chance to tell their story hopefully.

I just read a positive review, but it said the series is selling absolutely horribly. That's bad news. I think they're committed to taking it to #12, which will revolve the immediate storyline, but I know the creators had hoped to be able to take it further than that.

Sigh, why is it there are GREAT books on the market that never have the sales they deserve?!? I'm looking at you Unknown Soldier and many more like The Mighty. It's sad because companies try to progress the market, but readers hold them back

If companies really were trying to progress the market, they'd give the hype heaped on Blackest Night and Dark Reign to books like The Mighty and Criminal.

Unknown soldier is a vertigo book. The trades on vertigo stuff is the most important factor.

Vertigo series usually last much longer than mainstream superhero comics.

What was the last vertigo series to get the chop? Loveless and young liars. But otherwise, most of the titles last longer.
