I wrote and posted this several months ago. I got so busy with work that I wasn't able to update it. But this was my first comic-book review since my Amazing Heroes days, so inspired by Gail Simone's work on Wonder Woman:

Nice one! I thought the movie issues were a riot, too

I'll have to disagree. I bought this for my girlfriend (who is a raging feminist) and she absolutely hated it. I read 32 issues before I dropped it though. I liked some of the things Simone did, but alot of the stories left me flat. I wouldn't rate it nearly as high.
2.5/5

If you bought 32 issies, isn't that mostly before Gail's run?

I started at issue #1 when they re-launched and read all the way to the end of the genocide arc. I think it was issue #32

You have my pity, then. Most of the early to mid issues were... substandard? Try rereading just Gail Simone's issues, you might enjoy them more.

#14 on, acording to Wikipedia.

Pretty good reads. Nothing great though. I like the art.

Don't need it, but if it makes you feel better.

That's exactly what I did...I sat down and read every issue of the relaunch in succession. I have numerous runs of Wonder Woman in my collection, and so far this run is wayyyyy below average in my opinion.

Thanks. I admire how Gail is able to balance humor with widescreen epic sequences and gritty brutality. She's like a cross between Dan Slott and Robert E. Howard!
