This is Wildside:
http://media.comicvine.com/uploads/0/77/138711-187408-wildside_large.jpg
Mainstay member and sometimes leader of the terrorist Mutant Liberation Front. Wildside prefers to fight hand to hand but will use his power to cause opponents to hallucinate as a last resort. Wildside's powers include the power to psychically disrupt an individuals sense of reality. However he was ' enhanced ' by Weapon X like all operatives and gained the abilites to extend claws from his fingernails, through psychic means.
And he is AWFUL.

Richard's one of my favorites. he's responsible for me reading X-Force and PAD's original run on X-Factor. what i liked most was the reveal that he was actually a rich kid with a decent upbringing who just happened to be a bad seed; thus becoming a mutant terrorist. and while his power was to distort the senses i was always hoping that they'd explain why he sometimes appeared to have pointed ears, fangs, claws, and (on one occassion) a tail. he looked like a male version of Feral most of the time. was it just that he chose to file down his teeth and sharpen his nails? that's a whole new level of strange. but he was one of the MLF's better fighters; quick enough to dance around Shatterstar at least.
he and Dragoness had the whole 'Mickey and Mallory' thing going on. i could never figure out why Dragoness changed so dramatically for that last Operation Zero Tolerance appearance. she looked like Strobe with black hair.

I like him. He's not as awesome as Forearm, Thumbelina, Sumo or Tempo, but he was pretty cool.

most of those i understand. but Sumo never did anything but pose in the background. he barely had any dialogue either. he's like Fat Cobra without the personality and undefined powers.
i still want Shortpack and Thumbelina to date

i miss how they were kind of like that era's version of the Hellions. by that, i mean they were relatively young mutants who had no direction but were evil because their mentor was. plus they had that kind of buddy team thing going on with the Nasty Boys. i like to imagine that they all hung out on the weekends and got into trouble. Gorgeous George seems like he'd be a lot of fun; seemed intelligent but with a slacker sense of humor.

They always have to have a "slutty-looking female" so they chose Dragoness since Locus was clearly awful.

It didn't help matters she switched races faster than it took Alexis Arquette to decide to get her willy chopped off.

Is he tea-bagging Thumbelina here? He should be kicked out of the MLF for sexual harassment.
Liefeld has the whole team looking like they have a touch of Downs'

Bracketing the fact that Wildside is awful (not as awful as Reaper), I really wonder what Stryfe's recruitment speech for the MLF was like. Did he advocated a theory of anarchism? Did he just promise them the chance to tear things up? If you think about it, someone who goes by the name of Stryfe isn't really going to be all that committed to mutant liberation, so either his followers have to be incredibly stupid or they knew it but just didn't care.

I felt ripped off that the possible Moonstar/Forearm relationship was never touched on again, after she was revealed as a double-agent in the MLF.

Has Rob Liefield ever seen human hair?
I would like to meet him one day and ask him how Wildside gets his hair to look like that. It's like a pyramid is protruding out of his head.

maybe it could be revealed that it's not how he actually looked, but only how he was perceived, due to the nature of its power...(i'm just throwing that off to elaborate on what you were saying, it's probably a bad idea actually...)
i personnally miss the MLF, even though i never was a big fan on the first place. it just reminds me of a time when the mutant-verse was filled with characters, groups, factions, all pursuing their own agenda, when each character had a backstory and several personnal story line along the way (like, to stay on the topic of the MLF, how dani joined the group, and then the sub plot about her being an undercover shield operative...)
now with Nation X coming, it seems more and more like reading a new inhumans series....
