there is a job offer in the X-Factor office... the team is looking for a brand new receptionist
and I wonder... who is the person we would like to see in that rol?

We are talking here about a girl whose sheer airheadness makes her immune to telepathy.
She has been around more than she looks like, and has had contact with most of the cast, either in the Fallen Angels Mini or in X-Force,

Pros : Because you know she would be chattering on the phone (paid by Madrox) the whole day, chomping gums and failing totally to pick any message at all.
Cons : Well, I figure she would last two days in a job like that, at least in the real world.

The best friend of Jessica Drew, she already has experience as an investigator and could bring in other Marvel World characters, as Spiderwoman and Viper
Pros: If they were going to choose between all the candidates (in an hilarious issue) she would win hands down
Cons: Red haired and green eyed, she looks pretty much like Siryn. Besides, she is not too known (which could also work to her advantage)

You can never go wrong with this Mary Magdalen, former exotinc dancer and ex-girlfriend of Absalom Mercator, the Mutant Messiah who dissolved into butterflies (no, really)
Pros: Multi-task using his living hair. Plus, she knows how to treat policemen...
Cons: Medusa called asking for her gimmick back, and she is pissed

This psycho-ho would make sure nobody undesired would ever step into the offices. However, that would be because nobody at all would manage to enter.
Pros: It would be curious to see what could PAD do for this character, who has had a rough history
Cons: Her idea of a Fax is a note attached to dead rodent. Plus, bone horns and a fedora does not really fit.

I could see a lot of friction between Monet and Boom Boom actually. Monet's a snob and "high class" whereas boom boom is wild child who loves to shop.

However! Jubilee needs some love. I cannot see her returning to the X-franchise anytime soon, so her at least appearing in X-Factor would be awesome! And the interactions between M and Jubes would be hilarious! Plus she's been around too (like Boom Boom) and could have potential contacts.

i find it funny that Shortpack is always missing from these polls. i mention him every day and get ragged on for doing so. but i do it because no one else mentions him. that's why he's not appearing. this role is perfect for him since he's a mutant who isn't likely to be used as a combatant on any x-team. he has connections to several x-characters. etc. Shortpack should be the receptionist. it's really a no-brainer.

I voted for Jubilee, because she deserves better. As an old generation X reader it simply hurts to see her either in Limbo or having bad appearances (New Warriors counts a single bad appearance for me).

About Marrow, as i said in the other thread allready, even a Gorrila might be better qualified for a receptionist job.

i'm a mystery to most. but it all originated with my original favorite character; Scott Lang. they killed Scott off. he was replaced by Eric O'Grady; a really vile individual. i would dislike him except for the fact that he looks a lot like a young version of Scott Lang. so i like that aspect of him. he reminds me of Scott; physically. and Shortpack, being an all-around helpful nice guy, reminds me of Scott Lang; personality-wise. there's also his connection to Mystique; whom i've been a fan of since before Freedom Force. so my love for one character split into two. the powers are somewhat a coincidence. Eric can also grow to giant size and is just as much of a d*ck when he does it.

I vote Jubilee, but on second thought, Boom Boom has a rich history with a large portion of the cast. X-Force with Rictor and Shatterstar, plus both X-Force and Fallen Angels with Siryn, and Madrox was also in Fallen Angels.
