I've played in some live-action role-playing in the past, just vampires in the World of Darkness. It was okay, but with the exception of the nosferatu and a few others, the costuming wasn't too impressive. The ventrue wore nice clothes, the brujah wore leather or punk accessories, etc.
So I was completely blown away by the elaborate costumes in this larp based on Fallout! These people are playing near St. Petersburg, Russia, and they look like they are filming a movie. Really amazing work on the props and locations, too. Check it out:

I LARPed once, back in high school, in a nature preserve not far from my home at the time. I was the dragon. I huddled under a blanket and breathed smoke, occasionally hissing and wheezing.
Nah. But seriously. That looks like a lot of fun. I saw pictures of some guys who did a STALKER LARP supposedly not far from Pripyat, this reminded me of that. I'm amazed at how 'together' everything looks.

Wow Shellhead, thanks for sharing that. Those pictures were really great to look at, especially since I am a huge Fallout fan.
Never been big on LARPing though. The first time I ever heard about it was at a small Magic the Gathering shop at a comic shop when I was in college. These creepy older guys started talking about LARPing "Vampire" and they were so bizarre I just got really turned off by the whole prospect. But those Fallout pics were perfect, and I'm sure Russia has some of the most perfect locations to do it.

I've been LARPing on and off for well over a decade by now. Mostly Mind's Eye Theatre (White Wolf) and Cthulhu Live (Skirmisher Publishing), but a handful of other systems/settings here and there too.
Costuming has always been hit-or-miss, some folks get really into it, others not so much. Some settings call out for a little extra effort, it is great when folks step up to the challenge.
Those are some great images and the game looks like a lot of fun, thanks for sharing.

Great find. As I was reading the captions I couldn't stop myself from reading them in a Russian accent. It was automatic.
