Might not be possible with the supernatural shooting schedule.
I wonder if the Leon Kennedy character design is based off of him. In Resident Evil 4, it certainly seemed like it. I'm sure if I went around telling people it was based off of him, they would believe me. haha

I remember watching him on Days Of Our Lives and thinking this guy is terrible and 10 years later I see him on Supernatural and was thinking " Damn this guy has come a hell of a long way ".

Plus his outtakes are just awesome and he seems like a guy you would want to hang out with and drink a case or two.

I wasn't really impressed with him when I saw him on Smallville. In truth I found him to be a bland actor. However when I saw him in Supernatural I noticed how gradually his acting would improve by each episode.

He is the right person to be cast as Leon S. Kennedy

Seems more of a Hawkeye type instead of Cap but Im cool with that choice

Sometimes it is all about the character and if the actor can really get into it and they are not just phoning it in. Maybe Dean is the first character he truly enjoys playing.

Same. I hated him in Smallville, but I love his work in Supernatural. He conveys the various layers of Dean Winchester very, very well. He can easily bring a laugh out of you, but when it calls for it he can also get you teary-eyed as well. I agree that Jensen Ackles deserves some recognition, but I don't know how I feel about him starring in yet another shitty Resident Evil sequel. I'd like to see him do something less cheesy and outside of the genre we're used to seeing him in.

All we can hope is that if Jensen does really well in the sequel then he might get a spin-off movie. I just hope that we get to see him kick ass in the sequel like he does in Supernatural.

I think he is the brightest light in Supernatural actors wise.

My sister who is a fan of Days of our Life and now Supernatural always jokes how far he has come from his crappy role in that soap.

Resident evil is better than nothing. It would be a good start to bigger things.

I remember hearing about this rumor almost immediately after extinction came out. I think this would be awesome. I don't really like the RE movies, but if Jensen (one of my favorite actors) is playing Leon S. Kennedy (one of my favorite fictional characters), then for me, its made of win. I just hope to god he has a good script. The RE movies kind of suck. If they could somehow improve, I would love it.
