Looks like somebody's actually paying attention to what's going on in the rest of the MU, for once. Right as Reed's thinking that it's up to him to fix everything he's had a hand in making wrong lately, Lockjaw and the Pet Avengers deliver all six Infinity Gems to him at the Baxter Building. Meanwhile, over in the Beta Ray Bill miniseries, Bill has been so successful at starving Galactus by destroying planets he's about to munch on that he's looking almost as cadaverous as in that cover... not sure if that's Reed about to finish the job (after all, there are whole alien species that would argue that Reed saving Galactus all those years ago was his biggest mistake) or to save the big G. Meanwhile, whatever Reed has planned with the Infinity Gauntlet, looks like the Celestials are none too happy about it.

And given the states of the characters and the inclusion of that version of Thanos... I find that dubious.

And in Son of Hulk Galactus is fine and he fed on the Old Power and apparently its some sort of space crack cause now is craving it.
By the way.... they killed a Galactus a few issues back to bring all the people from the future earth. So this HAS to be some sort of record for killing the same character multiple occasions in a tremendously short amount of time if this cover is actually is showing us something.
It better be that Galactus they killed a few issues back and Reed is using it to wear it as a space suit to fight the Celestials for whatever reason.

Wait wait wait wait... Are you suggesting a writer has FINALLY, after years of ignoring what accures in other book. Is actually taking all these things and bringing them together. Thus actually giving a effect due to all these events which in tells a near dead Galactus, The Celestials and the Fantastic Four taking center stage in this crazy event? Is this writer crazy??? Is he insane??? Are you daring to tell me he's actually trying to give us a story... We might like?!
Thanks for the info, I going to have to do some side reading potentially with the BRB story and these Pet Avengers now. Plus anything with a Celestials appearence to me is instant pull.

It be better is that Galactus is the dead Galactus they killed a few issues back and Reed is using it be wear it as a space suit to fight the Celestials for whatever reason.
But the Galactus that died was from the future. So he will still be around another 500 years.

They're covers. Don't take 'em too seriously.

Well, while the status of Pet Avengers in continuity might be questionable, I think the Beta Ray Bill mini is definitely supposed to count. That just makes it a question of which story comes first, I supposes.

I hope the writer remembers that Invisible Woman's force field s-- which originate from hyperspace -- can shatter the Celestials' shells. I believe Thor is the only other earth hero to do that ...
