So November Solicitations have come out and now we see some Franken-Castle. Any speculation on whats going to happen to Frank here?

Daken is going to kill Frank and then he's going to be brought back to life as some crude-cyborg/Frankenstein monster thing. We talked about it in the other thread, most of us seem a bit let down by the idea. I've slowly become less mad about it and more curious. I still think it's a pretty stupid idea, but I'm anxious to read it.

I can't imagine he'd be all that "cybernetic," in that I don't think he'll have guns for hands or a rocket launcher in his chest or anything. I think he'll actually be hobbled by being a crudely sewn-up mess, and he'll have to deal with that disadvantage, rather than having a "mechanical advantage," so to speak.

I have gone on the record and said that I'm against this change. I think the Punisher is better suited for the Max imprint and not the regular Marvel Universe. I also prefer him as a viglantee as opposed to a sci-fi vigalantee.

yeah. punisher is mre of a less super- character. it'll be tougher to get this doen without everybody being all like "wtf!" eitehr way its gonna make people say that. i don't like it one bit

But it'll have Tony Moore artwork, so I'll have to check it out (though I wish Moore had been doing this current arc with the Scourge victims).

We all know this is going to be short-lived until someone clones him a duplicate bosy or something...it's not going to last forever...I'll give it a shot. if it's bad after I read it then it's one thing...but I'm not going to complain about it b4 hand. I can say that I dunno about this idea...but we'll see what happens.

No use kvetching about it before hand... it could be like the "Frank Castle fights the old school Avengers!!!!" solicit, which wasn't entirely accurate, was it?
