A Missouri woman is accused of cyberbullying for allegedly posting photos and personal information of a teenage girl on the "Casual Encounters" section of Craigslist after an Internet argument.

Prosecutors said 40-year-old Elizabeth A. Thrasher posted the 17-year-old's picture, e-mail address and cell phone number on the Web site in a posting that suggested the girl was seeking a sexual encounter.

St. Charles County Lt. Craig McGuire said Tuesday that the victim is the daughter of Thrasher's ex-husband's girlfriend. The girl, who has not been named, received lewd messages and photographs from men she didn't know and contacted police.

First that girl kills herself because some other girl's mom torments her on MySpace, now this woman takes out her jealousy of her ex's new girlfriend on the woman's daughter?

That's really quite disturbing. I could see Thrasher doing this with the girlfriend's photo and details, that at least has some sort of logic to it - directly attacking the specific person who your ex is gotten together with and who you're having an argument - but the girlfriend's daughter? What's she got to do with anything? You're over twice her fucking age!

And I like her attorney's defence:

"It may be in poor taste. It may be inappropriate, but it's not criminal behavior," Kielty said.

I can't remember where or when I saw it (helpful I know!) but there was a case about a mother posting a elementary school age girl's info on the internet, just without pic. Shoot. I wanna say NYC maybe? It wasn't podunk USA in any case.

Y'all. I'm kind of glad I can't have kids. Cause I'd have to start killing parents that targeted my kid like this. And I don't particularly think I'd like jail too much.
