View Full Version : A small concern about Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2....

I know it's a video game sequel to the first MUA, but it's still a Marvel Comic game with various Marvel heroes. :redface:

My question is this....

Does anyone feel kind of cheat knowing that this game has 3 acts or does anyone feel uneasy since the game developers states that the 3rd act of the game takes the whole Civil War concept in a new direction and tries to bring back the alliance ?

My question is this....what type of threat can really bring back the alliance in the aftermath of Civil War ?

Given how the first game ended, Galactus would be a good choice. It's probably the Big G.

But I suppose it could be other things. Hell, they might wanna jump start Secret Invasion for example. Or maybe even Annihilation.

Secret Invasion would be nice. Skrulls with Heroes powers would have been cool.

No.
It might be even better than the ending and aftermath to Civil War.

I'm betting it will be.

The thing about CW is that it set a new status quo for Marvel. I don't think the video games will do that, so one way or the other I'm assuming a more decisive ending to the CW and the SHRA will come about.

Agreed. I'm think Galactus as well. I'm interested in seeing the changes. I love the customization of the first one and X-Men Legends II. I'm disappointed to hear about there being a ton of DLC as I am not on Live and I don't plan on being on it either.

Regardless, I can hardly wait for the release date.

enjoyed the first one, im a bit shocked to see there is no black panther yet. oh whats a DLC?

Downloadable Content. Stuff you have to pay for after the game comes out. The developers make it seem like the DLC for this game is gonna be new characters (Maybe Black Panther) and maybe new costumes.

For MU1 it was 8 new characters. I hope there's atleast that and cotumes.

So far in the regular roster, there's no one beside Gambit that I'm really excited about playing as.

Well, that's where we differ in our opinions.

I could get excited about playing as almost anyone but Gambit.

Maybe if there a minigame where, as Gambit, you have to dip your own head into a deep fat fryer.

To each his own. I for one, am really looking forward to Gambit. Him, Deadpool, Spidey, and Goblin are my main four. Maybe Venom if there's the original Eddie Brock costume available.

Considering how horrible the comic storyline was, I look forward to anything that even attempts to fix it.

I have to say the so call twist to this game was really bad. :frown:

I mean it was kind of dumb and I was hoping for more.

However what do you all think about it ?

It wasn't great, but it could have been worse. I think I was just expecting too much with Galactus. It was a chance to beat up on more heroes. I always did want to beat the crap out of Firestar...

Well, the account is free. Most DLC you have to pay for.
