I'm in with the surest sign of over-the-hillness: The combover, illustrated here by current US Senator Carl Levin in his OFFICIAL PORTRAIT.

Seriously, Carl. You're not fooling anyone.

The thing that clued me I was "over the hill" was when I finally had to face these:

BTW, Brooks and Reiner are bringing it back on HBO (http://blog.taragana.com/e/2009/06/29/mel-brooks-carl-reiner-to-remake-2000-year-old-man-12521/).

I'm in with one of the best super-hero parodies to come out of National Lampoon: P. J. O'Rourke and Nick Cardy's Decrepit Comics starring Bat-Fart. I won't spoil this story's pleasures by giving away the plot but if you *really* want to know what'll happen to the Darknight Detective when he gets old, P.J. and Nick give us a realistic--and devastatingly funny--answer.

He may be getting older, but he's anything but over the hill. Here's Bruce Springsteen, at 59 years of age, headlining the Glastonbury Festival earlier this year.

Dibs on Morla from the Neverending Story - so old that not only is he over the hill, he is the hill.

My themed avatar is taken from the music-video, Natural Blues, by Moby, where he is portrayed as an old guy, reminiscing on his younger years, in a retirement home. He is then taken into the light by a woman in white, which is what my avatar will show. Old-guy Moby went over the hill in the video, that's what I intend on portraying.

Just a reminder, justinkos91: you have to use your avatar (all week) to be eligible in the voting. Posting it as an attachment doesn't count.

Don't worry about it, it is. Otherwise, everyone else is just ripping off old people.

Besides, I interpreted the two versions of the pun differently and others might interpret it the same way.
Considering his conduct in the Oval Office, I'd say Bill's been over (the) Hillary for quite some time.

I'm in with what I think (possibly foolishly) would be the best thing about getting old: distinguished graying temples. Hal Jordan had it for a while, Earth-2 Superman had it, and probably the greatest example, Reed Richards.

A good sign of being over the hill is the standard mid-life crisis, best shown by the buying of a big red sports car shaped like a huge penis in the deluded sense that hot chicks will suddenley find you utterly irresistible.
Which reminds me, I haven't taken the Porsche out for a spin in a while. With the weather being so nice and all, I can put the top down and become an instant fanny magnet.

Can I enter my avatar? Jean Grey is obviously far from old, but the concept of killing her off repeatedly (why can't they just keep her alive) has gotten older than the dinosaurs. In other words, it's gone over the hill.

I think I'll enter this one, with the 94 year young, Jack LaLanne

Fury's hair is equally awesome, but multiplied by the eyepatch, his cool is off the charts.

StarsandGarters. I'm starting to go gray, and so far it's mostly on the temples. God willing, I will end up with the Reed Richards/Nick Fury look. If not, my hairstylist will have to make it happen.
