When I open up the The shameful gay marriage ban (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?p=607251#post607251) thread on YABS, I repeatedly experience the following problem. I appear to be unable to read any of the posts on the final page.

Happened to me, too. I can only read - and reply to - the first few pages.
If you try to reply to any of the "invisible" pages, you get an error message.
What's the error message, exactly?

What's the error message, exactly?"Invalid Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the webmaster"

Damn. :( Was it something I said?

Weird. Was it split and the other half deleted but didn't actually delete? Did someone delete all of the posts, but it kept the pages there?

Thanks for pointing this out. There was indeed a DB corruption which was just fixed. All should work fine now.

There is apparently something funky still going on, and involving this same thread. Whenever I go to the thread, it doesn't show any of the more recent posts (none after the one I posted yesterday), even though on the YABS front page it says there are more recent posts. For example, just now it said Rallura had posted on the thread, and I went to the thread and found nothing. I went to Rally's profile page and "find all posts by Rallura" and it shows some new posts to that thread.. but when I click on it to go to the thread, I just get the old stuff.
Edit: And I just now logged out and logged back in, and continue to have the same problem.

I tried to post, I think it responded, as usual, I got no error message, but my post hasn't shown up (although I've successfully posted in another YABS thread since then).
Luckily, I've gotten into the habit of copying the content of my posts before submitting them, just in case OR...
"FORtunately, AH always keep MAH feather NUMBAHED... FORRRR, just such an eMERgenCAY." ;)
CORRECTION: I should correct my earlier post.
I can see Rally's 12:16pm post from today. None after that and I am unable to post to (only) that thread.

An easy way to read that thread is to click "reply," and just scan back from the end.
Weird, though.

Yep, that works. Thank you, Ed.
Weird inded.
This thread had me wondering if I'd missed out when they were distributing secret decoder rings or CBR spy manuals or something like that.

I got an e-mail saying there was a new reply to the thread. I didn't see a new reply. In fact, I didn't see the one that was there before *I* replied.
However, SOMEthing looked different, so I replied with "test with 10 characters" (which failed to post before) and not only did THAT post, but suddenly a page or so of new posts appeared (including the one that failed earlier AND the earlier tester).
*whew*
Hope that helps someone somewhere.

Guys, I just posted to the thread and saw it, there was a post made an hour ago, not sure why you are all having problems. Try clearing your cache or forcing a reload (hold down the shift and/or ctrl key when you press reload) and tell us what happens.

I responded more than an hour ago to let you guys know that posts were visible, among other things.
Dunno if the info.'s useful, but there seemed to be a little something extra goin' on. I'll assume all's well, now until I see differently.
Thanks.

There appear to be more problems with database corruption, as you can see here (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=56709) and here (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/member.php?find=lastposter&t=56709).

I'll go run the repair script. Unfortunately having a forum that's this busy, it tends to happen on occasion.
