Can anyone remember a special edition soft cover comic book... Batman of course... the cover of which depicted a black background and a rather wicked looking Jack-o-lantern? I used to own it but cant remember the exact title or release date.
I do know it was released some time between 1993 and 1995 and to the best of my knowledge it starred Batman and Scarecrow.
Any ideas folks??

The only cover I can think of like that was the "Madness" special by Jeph Loeb that featured the Mad Hatter, not the Scarecrow.

It could be "Batman : Choices", which was another Loeb story that was part of the "Haunted Knight" Batman halloween specials series of LDK spin-off 1-shots (and was collected in the trade) with the aforementioned mad hatter story (though under the title "Fears").

No sweat. If you want to re-read it again, "Haunted Knight" is pretty cheap (around 10-15 bucks most places) and is pretty easily available. The other 2 stories (one involving the Mad Hatter, one is a take of of "A Christmas Carol" and features The Joker) are great as well. Some of my favorite Sale/Loeb collabs in that collection.
