Never saw so my pretentious twattery in all my life!

isn't she still too young to be in a bar or something....

though I thought I saw something (some tv show maybe) where there's a whole big strip in GA somewhere where all underaged places (sans, supposed alcohol) let all the girls in?

Heh-heh. That about sums up "Miss Cyrus". No, I work in a place where part of my workplace isn't suitable for minors, but something tells me she'll be up there all the same tonight.

So she wants to have the "best of both worlds" then?

Yeah, I think that's how it played out. My workplace went on "Shutdown" around 6pm for the "Event". The restaurant floors were privately rented for Miss Montana's wrap party. Folks showed up around 7, acting like they were indeed "All That", even though they were only crew. You would've thought half the nobodies coming through that door were the headliner herself. I think my facial muscles became sore trying to maintain a forced smile. lol

I didn't see anyone notable or recognizable except the "star" herself--who put Savannah all-a-twitter for the entire summer. She finally showed up around 9:30 acting like the next Lindsay Lohan. I felt pretty "meh" about the entire affair, and got relief to make a quick "Five Guys" run. I've got a low threshold for pretentiousness, and mine was sorely tested last night.

Sad when being the next Lindsay Lohan is what you're aspiring to be...

What would happen if Miley Cyrus starred in the new Twilight movie? Would the world shatter from the screams of joy from every tween on Earth?

I've just checked her age, and the suggestion I was about to make about the Jonas Brothers would have been deeply inappropriate.

Though I still say we should hunt and kill her dad.

Maybe not shatter, but millions and millions of people would suddenly go deaf.

For a second I read that as the new Twilight Zone movie. If that would've happened, I'd pray for a Vic Morrow repeat on Miley

If we'd all just listened to Bill, all this pain and suffering could have been avoided.

We do not need Miley as a excuse for that.

You know, the whole "coming-into-threads-just-to-take-a-pot-shot-at-other-people-for-no-reason" is getting really old.

...and the flipside of my Anti-Miley bitch is that I've met Kevin Kline, Kristen Wiig, and Evan Rachel Wood since then, and they're all pretty fucking cool! They were all in town for the shooting of The Conspirator. All three passed through in one capacity or another.

I actually met Kline when he asked for directions to our lounge, which has (sorta strangely) become the most talked-about place in town. A very tall man who looked to be late 40's/early 50's approached me. He asked about the hotel, and I told him a little about it.

Now, Kline looked different irl than I've seen in his movies. Threw me off a little, but as I spoke with him, his voice was naggingly familiar. It bugged me, but I couldn't place it. When he went upstairs, my astonished co-workers told me I'd just given directions to Kevin Kline! Could've knocked me over--as much for his suave, articulate poise & excellent manners as the fact that I'd talked to Kevin Kline! Man's presence is just as superb in person as on film!
